Why are mids suddenly picking Corki?

corki has been a midlaner for years

is a big reason on why many players have started to play again because of the range both can use to their disposal.
The meta has really been causing pressure for mids around the world to not only not die every minute but to keep their tower up etc(in the past it would be 40+mins before the mid tower would fall - now such falls at around the 18-20 min mark because of the pace) + such are good waveclearing champions, especially when you have champs like (most played ADC) (2nd most played support/most played ADC) (most picked top) to give such time to scale up.

So if you can just throw a sand solider out every 5 secs for a football field range and wave clear like an animal as an opponent you need to think on your feet and take like 2 secs to hover over and just press Q-R and wave clear like a real B

Mid line is a lane where you cant defend against the damage comming in corki what do you build to defend doesnt matter they are both bad and build flat health people dont ever want to recouldnize hp items have been cut almost in half since season 2-3

It's not sudden. Picks go in and out of favor depending on the meta and balance. Corki has been a mid champ before, he once is again. It boils down to solid waveclear, good range, the Package gives him major area control, and finally, an ADC mid can allow for either blitzburning towers with two ADCs, or taking a flex pick to bot lane and still have a tower shredder.
