Am heavily annoyed that we and gambit are paired in the same group, mostly because I expected both teams to potentially top group D should they be put in it. That, and who wouldn't want to see diamondprox at worlds again?

FNC and C9 really lucked out in the Play-in draw honestly, avoiding Team WE and Gambit Gaming, instead we get a possible 6 games or so WE vs GMB. Should be a good tease to Worlds !

FNC and C9 luck out, entire audience loses because of it. While I'm not sure how it'd work regarding seeds, if GAM and gambit were in the same group it would definitely make things interesting if only because we could finally give the wild-card teams a chance of demonstrating what they're capable of on an international stage. It's one of the reasons that I'm hoping the we/gmb winner ends up going to group D, as there are multiple realistic scenarios in which that team goes 6-0 and heavily punishes the weak early games of all of those teams.
