Dodging spoilers

I think the new stream format blows. I want to watch all the games unspoiled and apparently muting the current stream when its over is not enough. I have to hide behind w/e screen , try not to look especially around the edges to know when i can unmute the stream. I feel like im doing this monkey dance just to enjoy the lcs.

I wonder if anyone else is doing the same or if riot recognizes this is a terrible way to watch the stream.

If this does not improve i think the best way to watch lcs is through the vods which kind of destroys the whole point of live arena crap right? I hope something is done about it. Personally, i think trying to squeeze all these games on 2-3 days is the problem.

The sorry excuse for a spoiler warning at the start just doesn't cut it. If there are going to be two games going at once there either needs to be cross coverage, and therefore no possibility of being unspoiled, or full spoiler protection between streams.

I mean sure at the analyst desk i understand but after the desk they are like tuning into the x x game and then show it lol. I think they do not need to do that, i could be wrong but a screen where it says this is xx stream taking 5-10min break is enough but hiding from the results or the live showing of the other game is annoying to me. Judging by the lack of other comments guess i just have to deal with and stop watching it live?? lol That seems way counterproductive to a live show though right? lol

Why not just have a set of people during the games whats the point of having number of games going on on 2 different streams when have each game they go to the same 2 guys at the desk. As if there isn't enough casters and desk people.
There are like 20 Casters and announcers, heck sometimes they bring in Dyrus-Doublelift-Crumbz to talk about the games

Game 1 have phreak and Jatt announce/ Desk have Dash and Zirene Game 2 have Rivington and Kobe announce/ that new guy I don't know who he is and have a random camera man to just nod his head and talk with him idk but its not that hard.

People tune in to a certain game FOR THAT GAMEEEEEEEE not to tune in and to hear about all the OTHER GAMES AS WELL jesus.

Anyone can do the Desk job all you do is ask questions that sound smart. " so that TSM game they stalled out the game because they were all low health WHY is that Random Guy" You don't need a college degree in asking questions do you???? SO anyone that loves the LCS can do that job so have more casters and Desk people and the spoilers will not be spoiled for different games.

As for the lack of comments, it's probably because this has been brought up in the boards alot. Which makes it kinda frustrating riot hasn't addressed this issue yet. I've basically just accepted it at this point that I'm going to be spoiled no matter what, and just try to watch whatever games that I can live or desire to.

Ahh i did not realize that, i do not visit these forums often or almost never. Every time i google lol forums i get the old site and crap or at least used to.

Glad to know im not alone in this feeling, i made a reddit post about this and the only people have have responded have been these E thugs. (was starting to think that i guess i just have to adapt )

When I come home and want to watch LCS games I log on to the LCS E-Sports page click NA go to schedule and try to put my hand in front of my face so I can block out most of the text that SPOILS the game before I get a chance to watch it, ANNOYING.

instead of saying this TEAM SOLOMID- VICTORY CLG-DEFEAT

INSTEAD DO THIS TEAM SOLOMID VS CLG ....... COMPLETED !

Its easy, watch 1 stream then watch VODS on Youtube, problem solved..

I don't really care about spoilers and I think this format will ultimately prove far superior to the old one where it's just an eight hour nonstop stream and you watch the team you care about play for like forty minutes followed up by a nrg smashing by immortals or something. I wish they would just stop trying to hide spoilers so we would get used to it. I don't care about knowing the results of whatever football or basketball game is going on at the same time as my team's game, and i found last weekend that I didn't care about knowing that immortals was stomping their opponent while I watched c9 play. You'll get over it eventually.

For some people it's just not fun to watch a game that outcome they already know. It takes all the excitement for a lot of people.

It's not abnormal to want to watch 2 or 3 teams. I get what your saying, but you can't even go to the front page of the website without results getting spoiled (schedule with match results is right there). I know that ESPN and other websites do the same thing, but it's different. If I want to watch a football match that I was at work for, I record it on my DVR. I go home, load up the recording and watch. It's not going to say, "HEY, YOUR TEAM LOST! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO WATCH THIS SHIT?" I'm sure they want traffic to their website, but if they don't do something to make it a little more spoiler friendly I'll have to watch VODs on other websites. There's a solution to the problem, but it's not what they'd want.

By the way, i actually use that. This is how i watch the other stream so far anyways.

However i think somewhere either here or reddit i made a post asking them if its just better to not watch it live anymore. Seems like the only way to enjoy it (spoil free) is to not play league (because client spoil) and to not watch it live HAHA. This seems counter productive no? haha
