It’s hard to call Save the last of the top lane carries when Gao “Gogoing” Diping is still competing in LPL. Gogoing has been the undisputed king of the Chinese top lane all year, and this will be his second visit to the World Championship.
Gogoing has never encountered a top lane champion he couldn’t adapt to. He’s been known to snowball so far ahead that diving into the entire enemy team unaided and coming out with a kill or two isn’t unheard of. The top lane is often OMG jungler Drug’s go-to lane to gank, because the two of them can easily take a kill in most situations.
This doesn’t make Gogoing a selfish top laner. He’s known to immediately bring the rest of his team along for a jungle invade or teleport down to the bottom lane early with his advantages. He’ll share the kills with his teammates and propel the entire game forward on his own back.
If top lane becomes a war zone, you’re sure to see Gogoing get going.
