This...personally I find the fact they are having a female only tourney a bit sexist towards men in the first place but not allowing women who aren't straight or are not 'women' in the common sense makes this extremely bigoted and almost sexist to both men and women, which is just really fucking stupid.
I want to preface this by saying that an all-female tourney doesn't bother me too much. Women really are extremely underrepresented in esports and if the goal is to bring more attention to women in esports, that seems like a fine idea. (Personally, I think gender-mixed teams would be a better way to solve this, but to each their own) But seriously? How the hell do your sexual preferences and/or gender identity grant "unfair advantages?" I've been truly thinking to try to come up with a reason, and I've got nothing. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Trying to fight sexism with even more bigotry will not solve anything.

Just curious, why don't you consider yourself a feminist? Seems like you're supporting equal representation of women, and I doubt you believe women should be lower than men. I was reading the article and I could not stop laughing at how purely stupid it all sounds, at this part i really though it was a prank of some kind.
"1) Each team will be allowed to have a maximum of one (1) Gay/Transgendered woman for the entirety of the tournament day. Therefore, teams cannot do the following: Team_A's first game will be 4 female members and 1 gay, then on Team_A's second game, they will have 4 female members and replace with another gay or transgender member."
Who knows what would happen if two gay or Transgendered be on the same team at the same time, that would just be to much. Don't even think about trying to sneak out you special friend who gives you such a huge advantage out for another, because only one per day for your team. At least they dropped these rules the next day it seems, though I got to wonder how these sort of ideas come about and what the discussion must of been like at the time.

If you believe that women and men are equal, congratulations, you're a feminist.
If you believe that women are human beings, and not property, then congratulations, you're a feminist.
