ARURF was the worst event at All-Stars

I was so sad about this match. It was in no way fun to watch and I felt bad for the players. They're suppose to be having fun and yet it was painfully one-sided.

I think this could have been avoided by 1) just make it URF or 2a) have each player get one reroll and the players can swap and pick up dropped champions the way it's done in ARAM. At least that gives the players a chance to get a decent selection of champions. In other words, give each side 10 random champions to choose from. and/or 2b) add 3 bans for each side

I want to reiterate that this was the worst event for me to watch out of all the events in the first two days at All Stars.

(I absolutely love the 1v1 and 2v2 tournament. Tandem is fun, but the person playing mouse gets a lot of control. Perhaps a fun alternative version would be for the keyboard player to be in charge of the clicks and the mouse player should only get to control cursor location. Nexus Blitz was also fun to watch.)

tl;dr: ARURF event was not fun to watch. try adding rerolls and/or bans.

Ehh I agree it was the least fun part so far, but I still enjoyed watching it. I do agree that bans/rerolls would've made for a more interesting event overall, strategically. This year's all stars has been great. So much chaos, and it's been amazing watching pro players actually have fun.

Like... I saw Faker SMILE. That never happened during actual competition. But... he actually smiled.

To each opinion their on honestly. While yes it was one sided and less than desirable on the viewing experience aspect, it was not the only showmatch of the entire event that contained such an inevitable landslide (reference to the first Nexus Blitz match and then some depending on opinion).

I'm just in the line of acknowledgement that there was anything at all and everything that could have been based on demand and resources and just enjoyed every bit of it.

You aren't the only one. In my opinion, it clearly showcased everything wrong with ARURF and clearly put to rest any of those "it's usually balanced" arguments. When Uzi can't win because the draw was against his team from champ select, something is wrong. At least with normal URF we could ban champs and choose good ones. Now if you get stuck with 3 melees against 3 (basically 4 ranged), good luck and try to have fun, sucks to be you.
