No English Casting for TCL?

Hi there!

I have really spearheaded into enjoying esports over the course of the last year, and I have made the conscious decision to follow Turkish Teams. Nothing wrong with NA, I even have some favorite going into 2017, but I find I gravitated to teams like Dark Passage and SuperMassive. I enjoyed watching a support like Dumbledoge on Bard Bard , and their upset victory over CLG at MSI 2016 resonated with me. I was a fan, but I was a bit late to the show. So I watched the All-Star event, caught some of Doge's appearances, and decided to follow Turkish LoL for 2017. As the LCK, LPL, and NA/EU LCS got started, I expected something on Turkey. I geared up to watch the opening day today, but got nothing. I was wondering, why no English coverage of Turkey? Why no live streams on the youtube channels? Objectively, I get it. Turkey is not the best region, nor are they prestigious in any regard, but they have fans too. Why not offer all that LoL e-sports have to offer, and allow ALL regions to receive the same amount of attention for the split season? It could open your platform wide open, make all regions accessible, and make the teams known worldwide, and build diverse following that cross more than just regional boundaries.

Anyone else feel me? Any feed back from anyone, particularly Riot, would be much appreciated!

I'd like add on to this by saying i'd like to watch m19 (Albus Nox Luna) but i can't find english casting for them either. I loved them in worlds

There are five regions cast in English -- North America, Europe, Korea, China, and Oceania. Of those, three have English as a major native language (since USA/Canada, AUS/NZ, and the UK all speak English as their national language).

Even the LMS, which is a major region (along with NA, EU, KR and CN), doesn't have English casts. This is because Riot doesn't believe there's enough interest in the English-speaking world for the LMS or wild card regions. Now, there's an alternative.

You can do it! You can be the PBP caster for the Turkish region!

All you need to do is watch the VODs in Turkish with the sound off, play-by-play cast them, record your PBP casting, and post it on YouTube.

If you start doing that, and you're any good, you'll get people watching your channel that want to watch the Turkish league being cast in English. Get enough followers, and Riot has a considerably high chance of not only casting the TCL in English but hiring YOU to the new team to do so.

You can have LS and Valdes from LCK. We don't want to listen to them for half of the games. : )
