Some called it shocking, while others called it inevitable.

But there's no getting around that Fnatic's record-breaking 2015 run came to a dismal end on Sunday, courtesy of Korea's No. 3 seed, the KOO Tigers. And while Game 2 and Game 3 of the 3-0 sweep left much to be desired from Europe's top squad, Game 1 was one of the best matches of the tournament. Check out this mid-game skirmish-turned-5v5 team fight, and see what you may not have seen the first time.

The 2015 World Championship concludes on Saturday, as Smeb and the KOO Tigers take on MaRin's SKTelecom T1 squad. The action begins 1pm CET / 5am PDT.

Well... I don't know about that because in my opinion, some of the teams performed below the expectations, some worse than others... Like SKT and KOO definitely made mistakes, but they ended up at the top because the other teams couldn't punish them properly and keep on the pressure. Also making bad calls and mistakes against any Korean team (well, at least for SKT and KOO) is lethal because they are too good at just breaking their opponents from the inside out if they see even the tiniest crack/mistake. And once they do that, no one can stop the Korean kiting/snowballing.

These are great videos. I'd love to see one of Fnatic's ill-fated team fight shortly thereafter that gave KT a way back into the game.

*KOO, not KT But yes, I would also love to see those fights. I mean, how do they lose from that lead? Not only that, it wasn't like the support had the gold differential, most of it was on a Leblanc! I do believe what many people were saying, that Fnatic just got crushed mentally after game 1 and that is why they lost.

I didn't understand the sad Sona music choice at first. Then I remembered FNC pulled a C9 and CLG at the worst possible time to get knocked out of the most important stage of the tournament. EU>NA might be true, but so insignificant. Now I can feel better about myself as an American. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Does the author of this article actually watch LCK? KOO is actually 2nd seed from Korea. They finished 2nd place and automatically qualified for world when SKT won the summer LCK championship title. KT Rolster had to compete the qualifier series to be qualified as the 3rd seed.

Doesn't matter. Seeding order for NA, EU, and KR is winner of summer finals (SKT) is 1st seed, team with the highest points (or if the team with the highest points wins finals the team with the next highest points) (KOO) is 2nd seed, winner of the gauntlet (KT) is third.
