#14 - Yellowstar

Team - Fnatic Region - Europe Position - Support Signature Champions

Though he was born as an ADC, Yellowstar has become elite as a Support. Yellowstar is one of only a handful of players to have been to every single World Championship. Think about that - four years of consistency, in three different teams, with four different bot lane partners, at two different positions. Today, his mechanical skill and playmaking ability on Morgana and Thresh are lethal. He controls the pace of the game for Rekkles, and controls team fights for Fnatic. Through great teamwork, dedication and strategic play and performance in the clutch, Yellowstar has become the best support outside Korea. This list isn't just about who is better than whom. "These rankings are based on the importance to their team, individual skill, strength at their position, and intangibles such as leadership, consistency and clutch play."

I don't think he should be 14th, maybe 16th, but Gogoing and Imp only bring skill in their position and that's it.

Well he shotcalls for an LCS team- leadership. He's made the LCS 4 times- consistency. Top notch in 2 categories

He's being ranked above somebody who's arguably top three at his position world wide, whose team has been top three in Korea for nearly a year. Since Samsung White acquired Pawn, they literally haven't dropped a best of series to any team not named Samsung Blue. Fnatic has regular slumps in which they look like the fourth or fifth best team in Europe, and just got handed a relatively one sided loss by Alliance, in the playoffs that they're legendary for showing up in.

If and when Fnatic and Samsung White meet, the results will speak for themselves. Yellowstar is a fine player - arguably top three at his position outside of Korea - but he's not the 14th best player at this tournament, and he's definitely not better than Imp.

Well, YellowStar is really good, and deserve tons of bonus point for consistency (4 worlds). That said, I doubt many EU/NA deserve a higher place in this top ... Maybe Froggen and Reckless but that's all.

What concerns me is that Froggen, Rekkles and Bjergsen aren't even on the list yet. I doubt that they'd rank Yellowstar above any of the players, which strongly implies that there's going to be even more ridiculous Western hype later on (Rekkles above Imp, for instance, which seems inevitable at this point).

They are in the toughest group, that's for sure but I think they can do it. Rekkles is a world class adc and OMG has a bad botlane. Also OMG has had severe issues with coordination and teamplay. They only rely on their mid jungle and top to make plays, and if it doesn't happen they will crumble. LMQ is strong but they had a lot of shit going on during playoffs and didn't look good. They can be beat for sure. Fnatic only has to take second place not first. Blue will probably not be beaten but it is a possibility that they could take a game off them if they play well and blue is arrogant or they get a good level 1 and snowball or something. In a single game anything can happen.

Mor? You're high as a kite dude. Mor's the weakest link in LMQ, and there's a number of supports in NA and EU better than him. He's not bad, but he's far from amazing.

ummm even lemoiation is better suited for this spot like hes not even top 20 cause theyre are so many players better than him xiaoweixiao imp and gogoing are lower than him please riot you can do better than this hes above avg for worlds but not top 20 nor the best support in the west.

I'll give him best Support in EU but I better not see a non-KR support above him on this list if you're really going to go with that story.

All the over-hype-age is so dull. Might as well give HotShotGG #1 Spot with the reason being "he's iconic for his season 1 performance and if anyone ever subs him in, you never know, he may just perform well"

yellowstar has incredibly consistent and high level gameplay, fnatic have ups and downs but yellowstar (albeit along with rekkles) rarely has a poor game. he is definetly one of the best supports and is a big part of the reason rekkles is so highly rated, rekkles is a world class adc but behind every high level adc is a great support and it is nice to see some recognition. a well deserved 14th place for yellowstar regardless of what many say. as for those complaining about lcs players being as highly placeed as they are, korean teams are so good largely because of team play rather than having all of the top players, not saying koreans and chinese dont have top class players but theydont have sole claim on them either.

I agree he's a good support, but he doesn't direct the botlane or the tfs. A lot of games (mostly in the beginning of each split) he initiates when no one can follow, or stays back when the tf starts, or even leave Rekkles, causing his death in a 2v1. So he's good, but definitely not the best out of korea

This is a good ranking for me because Yellowstar is a great support and it is one reason rekkless does really well a good support is as much needed as a good adc. I remember watching one game this season where Yellowstar was thresh and just kept on landing hook after hook after hook and this set them up for a great win. I think this is a good spot for Yellowstar
