TSM doesnt make it to knock outs and suddenly everyone hates them again.

I've had the TSM icon and emote since it was available this year, been rooting for them all split and into worlds they start off looking great. Then they start loosing games and get a spot in knockouts taken away from them. Now i get into a game of league with my TSM icon on and the first thing i usually see in chat is "Lol TSM." if I make any kind of mistake its, "We expected it since you have TSM in your name." Now usually this wouldn't be an issue if it was an isolated event. But this has happened to me around 10 times now where my team just flames me for supporting my favorite team since I heard about the LCS... And the worst part is, when TSM starts winning games and playing really well. Suddenly everyone's a TSM fan again. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it tilts the crap out of me to see all of this hate on TSM and the fans any time they don't appear as strong as they usually do.

majority of tsm fans are band wagoners. tsm deserves the hate right now since they didn't make it to groups versing no koreans since the last time they didn't verse a korean team at worlds was the only time they made it to knockouts. people playing in your games calling you out is typical for anyone, people mocked brazil football fans after the 1-7 game. everyone trashed talk all the EU games after rift rivals in the live chat.

Unfortunately TSM is just straight up not a good team. I have never, and will never like or support them (bless you Hauntzer, the one light in the dark). Anyways, they way that TSM builds teams and their mentality is to be the best team in NA. So domestically TSM is great. Internationally... not so much. Now, historically Cloud9 (like em or hate em) has always been decent domestically and consistently outperforms TSM on the international stage. That is the main reason I can justify all the TSM "fans" always flaming. Because TSM has a habit of always hyping themselves up as "this is THE year" or "the best iteration of their roster" and then falling flat when it matters most. As stated in the previous reply, since the inception of the LCS, TSM has only ONCE made it out of groups. Whereas C9 has only failed to do so once. So the blame is absolutely justified.

It has always been an issue caused by the fanbase.

TSM always had the approach to dominate the local meta, their weakness being so strict with it that the moment they face other metas/teams they get demolished like they are a subpar gold 5 wannabe premade.

Fans will start idolatrize them during the region matches like is the most recent coming of Jesus preaching to their souls just to be incredibly disappointed when things go down the sink.

No one is more let down than TSM fans, but people being toxic in lol games is nothing new, mute and report.

I would have made a joke about your icon all through Worlds and the weeks leading up to it, because so many TSM fans are stupid sheep who truly believe they are so amazing, and so often will make pitiful excuses when they flop internationally.

That said, I have nothing against the average nobody. I joke, but am not malicious. Be your own fan and enjoy it.

Now try to make bad arguments to make excuses, I may get nasty.

I'm pretty sure it had something to do with group D being the "Easiest group".
