Esport 35+

I want to recommend that the Esport establish a league of 35 + where players who are 35 years or more are involved and supported, because it is not possible to compete at this age with 20 years and younger at the prefessional level. This league will attract additional new players and viewers.

Why 35? Seems a bit arbitrary. And what's stopping older people from competing with younger people? Sure, reaction time declines a bit as people age, but for the most part I'm pretty sure 35+ year olds are basically just as capable of playing league as younger people.

35 year olds are just as capable to compete with 20 year olds. The biggest differences is that there aren't nearly AS MANY 35 year olds who grew up being taught how to type properly. So the pool of 35 year olds isn't nearly AS LARGE as the pool of 20 year olds who have been more acquainted with Computers + proper hand and finger position on the keyboard + PC gaming.

Since there are A LOT MORE 20 year olds to choose from, you are A LOT MORE likely to find really good 20 year olds than really good 35 year olds. It is the same reason why you see more male pro players than female pro players. Males make up like 90% of the player base. It is the same reason people take you more serious in sports if you are a starter on a team from a large school vs a smaller one.

I don't know...an e-sport tournament for those 35+ would be nice but at a time like this it's no good idea. Maybe when another 10 year tops it would be reasonable to add it since most of us (including other pro players like Faker) will be in their 30s minimum.

no it wouldnt.

The only reason people would watch it is because of the brands. not the gameplay.

Esports is popular because people want to see the best of the best. no one cares much about the best of the people who will never be the best who get a special league just for them.

It doesn't really take that much to be that profound to a game. Just takes a dedicated and driven stance and an org who's willing to vouch for your talent.

Other communities - DOTA, CSGO, and especially the FGC - can do it. Why can't League?

Doesn't that make the game more boring to watch though? I like the idea of inclusion, but idk if it'd be worth it. Also what Pandemic Punch said

I disagree with the ones saying 35+ are just as capable, knowledge-wise sure. Reflex wise, not at all. I've done some e-sports in other games and the differences may on a grand scale be very small, but that very small amount at the top .01% is actually pretty extreme, the difference between basically top .01% and top .03% which again may not seem like a lot is a HUGE gap. The only ones that can keep up with that gap at all are ones that are already into it and don't stop, if you stop for even a short time, you aren't getting it back.

That said, I don't really see the value of a 35+ league. Hopefully, clash will FINALLY become a full release, and that will do nicely IMO.
