Why does LPL have so many ties?

You know how in LCS we have single matches? They do best of twos between the teams. So the teams play two games, if one team wins both games, they get a win and the other a loss. If they each win one, they tie.

This makes things less random. Cloud 9/TSM/CLG will destroy the lower level teams two games in a row easy, but the middle of the pack teams will have less swingy results. You have to PROVE you are better than the other team, not just get a lucky throw at Baron.
