NA LCS Franchising - Home/Away Concept

With franchising, I will like to see teams adopt two color from their logo as home/away colors. i.e. like in regular sport. Let's say that the Blue side is HOME and the red side is considered AWAY. So, as an example: C9 could have white as home and dark blue as away. Dignitas, yellow home and black away.

I am specifying colors because I would like to see them during games as the tower/players/nexus colors.

So if C9 plays Dig, and C9 happens to start on the AWAY side (old red)(we don't care about red anymore!), then C9 is dark blue on away side AND Dig is ligh yellow on the home side (same rant, home not blue).

I specified light and dark so that home is always associated with home side and that dark is associated to away side.

I think this could help teams show their colors. Fans might associate better with their only number one team in their hearts. Players can wear a home jersey when playing on home side and vice versa. Their is a long enough break for them to change. With their names on their jerseys.

Anyway, that's my idea. I think it might help the fans build a bigger sense of ... not sure of the word... belonging, ownership, identification... bot sure how to say it.

Maybe one day I will see something like this happen to my favourite sport league: NA LCS.

A Home/Away concept outside of the game doesn't exactly sound probable. While the game does have the ability to produce aesthetics like banners, I doubt it would be something to prioritize in having numerous unique aspects to cycle out depending on what teams are playing. It reminds me of the region banners from past MSI events. With that, it would be a possibility to have some color coding splashed on the rift. I just rather it be internationally profound rather than for a single region. But hey, LCS is kinda a base ground for most formatting. Now you really got me thinking...
