League of Legends Worlds Semifinals

I am trying to get the attention of a moderator over at riot who can look into this for us. Many international players go every year to watch the Worlds, however this year we are encountering a major roadblock. October 2nd the international tickets were suppose to go on sale and the same day this message was posted on the lolesports site:

UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, international ticket sales for Semis in Shanghai will be delayed. We'll confirm the new on sale date soon. Guangzhou tickets remain unaffected and will go on sale as scheduled on Oct 2.

That was over TEN days ago, not a single update. We had to get visas to go to china, secure lodgings hotels etc all to watch various parts of worlds. I have a friend in China who claims all Semifinal tickets are sold out and being resold for 3 to 4 times the price. Would absolutely love an update from anyone at RIOT games to let us know what the situation is. I would like to purchase my semifinals tickets before i fly out October 13th (if there truly are tickets for international fans set aside like RIOT claims).

Absolute scam going on here, two of us waiting right at 10pm est for tickets to go on sale tonight, only the 180 rmb tickets went up for sale so we jumped on them and within 30-40 seconds we had all information filled out and hit send. Immediately we were told they were sold out. How is this possible? Did riot just pretend to sell the tickets for international fans and actually sell nothing or have nothing for us? If this is the case, why didn't they let international fans know from the BEGINNING that we wouldn't be able to attend this year? I would like a response from someone at RIOT, we would like to know how many tickets were released for international fans at 7pm PT on the 16 of October (today.)

Sorry all this is happening to you. RIOT has NEVER shown any concern for its non pro players and it’s esports fan community.

I apologize for not checking the forums earlier. I have asked Riot Support but they seemed to be clueless. So I had to make calls and check myself.

I will try to help and much as I can and this is the information I have recieved when searching around myself: The semifinal tickets for us international fans are not for sale yet. They will be released October 15 at 10 AM Chinese Standard Time. There was a delay on releasing the tickets due to the Chinese National Day and people celebrating Mid Autumn Festival in China.

The finals tickets for Beijing has not been released yet. From what I know, the country is still holding a meeting on whether the Riot gets to use Bird's Nest. (No, the location will not change, the person in the phone call working for Damai said.) I know it might be confusing but it's just government stuff apparently.

I hope I could answer some questions.
