My thoughts on the teams so far
CLG - " CLG fights so much they're going to be featured in the undercard going into Mayweather vs McGregor".
lol indeed, I love games that are all about kills, kills, kills and all but at the same time this close to Worlds I feel like CLG needs to practice on their objective focus a little more now the way they did in the past (2015-2016) and not solely focus on kills( knowing other teams around the World are much better at it).
CLG vs NV - While it's not a "highlight" game/series it should be considering NV are pretty much the old CLG from 2-3 years ago, with an mid laner Pirean(link), a jungler that has a farm for a hr and teamfight 60mins later in the game stage Lira(Bigfat), an aggressive support that tries to make plays happen Hakuho(aphromoo), a consistent adc Apollo(D-Lift) and an Ok top Seraph(Seraph).
DIG - It's getting closer to the second half of the split and well......... DIG sucks historically in the second half of each Split. Only once out of 9 or so splits has DIG ever had an actual winning team record (2017 Spring) in the second half.
2013 Spring Split started 11-3 ended 6-8 in the second half
2013 Summer Split started 7-7 ended 6-8 in the second half
2014 Spring Split started 7-7 ended 6-8 in the second half
2014 Summer Split started 9-5 ended 4-10 in the second half
2015 Spring Split started 3-6 ended 3-6 in the second half
2015 Summer Split started 7-2 ended 3-6 in the second half
2016 Spring Split started 3-6 ended 1-8 in the second half
2016 Summer Split started 4-5 ended 4-5 in the second half
2017 Spring Split started 3-6 ended 6-3 in the second half
IN short 54-47 first half - 39-62 second half
IMT - Pretty much agree on everything you said about IMT ! People forget a cool, calm and productive person within a team is much better than a person who is a rager, baby, talented player. Sure Dardoch and CLG are cool and winning but what will he be like when they start to lose possibly ?
Cody Sun reminds me of a young Turtle, but the less aggressive Turtle, he's more of a calmer, passive Turtle say in 2014 Summer and 2015 Summer Turtle but once he gets aggressive and knows his craft and support a little better........ watch out.
TSM - I mean Bjergsen is 5-3 on Riven/Yasuo so maybe we will see him play at least Yasuo, let me check ( Sees if Faker is playing Yasuo in the LCK) Nope, NVM !
20-19-44 is Bjergsen's stats on the champions nothing too impressive with the Kill/Death ratio but considering Bjergsen falls back on the ADC to help or carry instead of him/as he plays supportive mids now maybe he will.
LMQ - Oops sorry C9 excuse me, last split it was Jensen that was getting all the farm on the sidelanes but now it's Sneaky(387 per game) which I think is the highest in the LCS history- Could be wrong tho not sure ?
EF - No clear shotcalling from this team other than Froggen having the same idea as Lira " farm, don't fight, hr long games" but it's going on 10 splits now(5 years) of LCS and it's the same thing with Froggen. Looper needs to step up, now I know Mata isn't on the team to tell him what to do but dang this dude isn't even good in lane ? In LCK/LPL he at least did decent if not a few kills in lane but since coming to NA he's been mediocre............ 2.5 kills per game 4th, 3.3 deaths per game 2nd highest, 4.6 assists per game 9th highest. Balls, Seraph, heck even Lourlo seems to do more than Looper has so far.
FQ - When a player that has been falling hard and fast in the last couple of years is the one that has the most production on the team(Balls) that's not a good sign. Seems like FQ are toast - Spyro 1 toasty style!
TL - Remove Piglet = benefit it's that easy for XXX sake !
