Fantasy Love/Hate: Week 10
There are only a couple of weeks left of Fantasy LCS as the summer split draws to a close. It's make or break for all your roster decisions and we're back with Love/Hate to help you win your key matchups.
For Fantasy LCS Week 10, We Love…
Voyboy (vs. CLG, EG)
Curse has been on the receiving end of some heartbreaking losses in the past two weeks (vs. COL/C9), but that hasn't stopped Voyboy from gaining fantasy points in any sort of manner. Look for similar results this week as he looks to take his Orianna or Yasuo up against a CLG team reeling from a 0-2 skid. His history against CLG (22.7, 15.1, 25.0 pts in 3 games this split) indicates another upcoming strong performance and while his past games against EG aren't quite as strong, Voyboy's gameplay has noticeably improved (0 deaths as Tristana against DIG last week). In a critical week for fantasy owners who need a star to "go ham," Voyboy's one of your best options.
Tabzz (vs. FNC, CW)
The time is now for Tabzz to redeem his average fantasy production as he heads into this week against a red hot Fnatic, but more importantly a Copenhagen Wolves' team that he's crushed before. Although Froggen's normally doing the heavy lifting against the majority of opponents, Tabzz actually averages more points against CW than his teammate (24.1 pts/game vs 20.1 pts/game). On top of that, the Wolves were torched last week by Rekkles and lead both LCS regions for most points allowed to opposing AD Carries (nearly 3.0 pts/game more than any other team).Sneaky (vs. DIG, LMQ)
Cloud9 owns both head-to-head advantages (2-1) against their opposition this week and Sneaky's been at his best against these two teams (22.5 pts/game vs LMQ, 16.7 pts/game vs DIG). His Kog'Maw has been absolutely devastating, lighting up Curse last week for 11 kills capped off by securing a game-ending Ace. When he last played DIG and LMQ (Super Week 7), he was also given Kog'Maw and produced 23.3 and 27.1 pts respectively. Don't be afraid of the team matchups, Sneaky should be gold here. But We Hate…
ZionSpartan (vs. C9, COL)
ZionSpartan has been foiled constantly by Cloud9 and has yet to go over 10 points against them the whole split thus far. His matchup against compLexity's Westrice is a bit better but is not strong enough to warrant a starting spot this week in Fantasy LCS. His Nidalee made little impact against CRS Quas' Lulu and if that performance (just 1 kill and 1 assist) replicates itself here, don't expect a carry from Dignitas' Top laner.
SK Gaming (vs. SHC, ROC)
SK Gaming has fallen off the face of the planet in recent times (1-7 record since Super Week 7) and their fantasy value has suffered as a result (8 pts in Week 8, 14 pts in Week 9). With games against playoff hungry teams like ROCCAT and Supa Hot Crew, this week should be a tough week to pull out a couple wins. SK will need some huge games from their veteran leader CandyPanda if they want to stay afloat in the EU LCS, but ROC's VandeR and SHC's MrRalleZ should present stiff competition.
