There are many reasons to All-Star. Whether as a pro or a fan, everyone took a special part of this event to heart. We were drawn to the heartfelt and sincere ways the fans reached out to pros,
And we smiled back as the pros showed their enormous love and appreciation for the fans,
In the heat of the action, we shook and screamed, as the plays reached their boiling point,
And at the crescendo, absorbed in a huge play, the roar of the crowd joined our own shouts, hoping in some way that our contribution would spur our favorite players along to victory,
But even the longest games came to a conclusion, and as the last drop of sweat fell from our brow, All-Star took a gentler tone, as we witnessed the love and support of family members,
And relationships built with dedicated staff,
Friendships of former rivals who became teammates. The same rivals who, only a month ago, would have been bitter enemies,
And these same friendships developed between players from opposite ends of the Earth, joined officially for only one event, but to be remembered fondly for a lifetime.
All-Stars brought many faces from around the world, as fans and pros came together to share in the amazing community we have built together, to share in our love of League of Legends esports,
To motivate and encourage one another,
To laugh, to smile,
And, perhaps above all, to get immeasurably hyped.
