The LCS is staged!!!

This is why I THINK Mid-Season Invitationals were staged. The group stages and semifinals were not, but the finals on the other hand... well I think it's kind of obvious. Every game was so one sided, and it was back and fourth. EDG win, SKT win, EDG win, SKT win. Its not like it was a close match though, no. Every game had a clear winner from the start. Every game, either team had a huge lead. It was really what was so amateur about it. These LCS players have never "acted" before so Riot had to coach them through it. Specifically game 4, "Hey EDG, let Koro feed so SKT wins". The players wouldn't be able to disguise a staged game without going through these motions. But anyone who thought about could see it.Why would the players be ok with this? It's ovious, they get more money! Why would Riot stage MSI finals? It's simple, FOR MONEY! Can you imagine how much more money they would make if the MSI finals went to game five?! Viewers on there twitch longer, people at the event longer, more bets being placed. And we all know how cheap Rito is COUGH Chroma skins COUGH. So if you have some thoughts on this theory please leave your opinion. I'm new to the forums and hope to become more active through it. Blind all blind staged i wouldn't go that far. http://egamingbets.com and sites like it u can't place bets in the US but you can everywhere else. esports is 2nd only to soccer in a lot of these places. we aren't talking US rich we are talking Asia rich amount of money in this. one of the things they have to bet on is 1st blood and who dies 1st and the amount of money for Dyrus to die 1st could of been huge. i don't think he was in on it at all. but i think they was going to kill him 1st no matter what. Dyrus is the only one who wouldn't be able to bet. but his team mates like Santorin would have been able to because he not US hes Denmark. because the fan voting for tsm is so high out of loyal fans the odds are higher then they should be SKT 1 could have made 5 times more money out of just those games on bets then what the whole thing is worth.

I'm sorry, but I'm not trolling. This is a serious subject. If your talking about game 5 I will say that yes it was fairly close. But multiple factors could've taken place for thus to happen. Maybe they said, " ok we don't care who wins game 5 you can both try your hardest". Or maybe after 4 games they learned how to stage a game. If you look at the polls everyone clearly thought that SKT would smash EDG. But that wasn't the case.

That doens't matter every TSM fanboy thinks TSM will win Worlds every single year but do they ever? No. Everyone thought SKT would beat Najin Shield to make it to Worlds last year, Did they? No Everyone thought Najin Sword was going to beat SKT in Season 3 to go to the finals, did they? No Everyone thought Najin Shield would beat Cloud 9 making them go against Alliance for spot, did they? No. Just because someone thinks someone will win doesn't mean they will.

Everyone in The World can believe the World will explode tomorrow? Does it mean it will? No.

Who cares if people watch RIOT's twitch stream more? Riot.

Who cares if people are at RIOT's events longer? Riot.

I guess you can play the Sesame Streeet game if you like... I don't even know if bets ARE being placed. But the clear implication is that somehow this would benefit RIOT. Which I find ABSURD. Just like the whole premise of this thread.

well i would just like to be clear that from my view i don't see riot playing any type of role in this staged stuff. i do feel they know that bets are being placed. which is another reason to make coach's a real part of the team in 2015. before the new rules they would have been free and clear to bet and they have the game plan in there hand. which is a move to help legitimize esports. riot doesn't need to make money off it to do what it needs to do. like horse racing no ones really watching the avg. race but it ends up on t.v. because the the money that's in it. PEOPLE it's money riot won't have to get there hands dirty for it to go to the next step it's money it will get dirty on its own.

this wasn't to be smart or mean just didn't want to drag riot into this more of a read between the lines thing. not sure if i would wake up to see this whole thread gone. been playing online games for some time and seen games do worst for less. they don't seem to care. SO far

No, that was simply a theory. But if you think about it so many bets are most likely being placed on these games and if Riot not making money off of them, who is?

really anyone that knows the game plan. like if u read my full post! you can gain a better understanding. most of these teams come in with a game plan they don't just wing it. as for who is making money off this anyone and everyone willing to place bets. anyone close to any of the teams. like u can make x-amount of money just off knowing what a team like skt 1 will try to do in the 1st 15 mins. the end doesn't have to matter. they even can bet on 1st dragon which is also given vs teams like tsm or that Dryus will be left alone top lane also a given really no better game to bet on.

The production costs outweigh any stream revenue, and how would having people at events longer make Riot money? Riot only has the LCS and these international tournaments because it keeps people interested in the game. It indirectly makes money through champion/skin/icon sales from fans, and therefore Riot has more to gain by maintaining the scene's integrity. Even with bets, you can't actually bet enough that it would be worth Riot's time. And even if you could, someone would notice Riot getting that money and blow the whistle.

The individual games were one sided because both teams can perfectly snowball a small lead. It's part of why every analyst thinks they're the best two teams in the world.
