Meanwhile TSM got 3-0'd by CLG in the finals, and had a rather poor showing during the last couple of weeks before playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I see your point. But at the same time, all three of EU's teams finished rather strong. Not to mention, Origen, comprised of some powerful vets and rookie talent, made it from Challenger to Worlds in a single split; not having the comfort of championship points.

TSM, on the other hand, haven't exactly been living up to expectation. The finals for the Summer Playoffs, the couple of weeks before the playoffs, and even MSI; signs have been getting gradually stronger that TSM isn't what they used to be. Everyone just caught up. Even if you say that EU is overrated, you can't deny that TSM is in the same boat. If the finals of both NA and EU LCS were of any indication, Origen should be able to come on top over them, if anything, just because of versatility. They're much more adept at running triple threat compositions and don't need to get any single player ahead to snowball a win.

Powerful vets is a little much. Amazing has shown hes not that great of a jungler on the big stage. Xpeke is the weakest mid in that entire group, and maybe of any team at worlds. And, hes not even practicing in solo Q. Hell, none of the Origen people are really playing except for Niels. They apparently went to Korea for Vacation. And, their winrate in their lower elo, is not that great either. I know its just solo Q, but they arent even playing it to keep their mechanics sharp. Not to mention, they have no real coach, Soaz has been known to throw games off weird picks that come out of nowhere for no reason. Honestly, the only thing they even have over TSM, is maybe Niels and Soaz, but both have shown tendencies to lose games for their team. Niels has positioning errors ala Turtle, like when he just suicided on Corki multiple times. I remember watching him face-palm. And, Soaz has champion pick issues where he just decides bygod hes playing Yorick/Lulu no matter what, and loses games.

Look, personally I want both of them to beat the Asian teams at least once. Just I cant see why people are downgrading NA teams so far, and upgrading EU teams so highly. Fnatic is an amazing team. By far the West's greatest chance. After that, everyone else is equal at best, if not worse. H2k and Origen are probably equal to TSM and C9. So to sit here and act like Origen is just going to go off and stomp NA teams like they are Korean overlords, is a stretch.

Especially when it seems they arent even taking it seriously. Everyone of them, besides Niels, are at the bottom of the trackingthepro's solo Q ladder. And, their win-rates are not good for that elo. They dont even seem to be trying.

TSM hasn't shown that they deserve to be rated above Origen, as they beat two teams in the playoffs that didn't make it to Worlds, and got 3-0'd by the only one that actually went to Worlds. At least Origen 3-1'd one team and brought the unbeatable team to 5 games.

Roccat is a mid-tier team. They beat Origen, becuase EU's talent outside of Fnatic is just as bleak as NA. It might as well be c9 beating liquid and TIP. Which is the point. Fnatic got pushed to a game 5 for similar reasons as to why UoL was able to force them to a game 5 the previous split, and we all see how well that worked out for UoL. No different in Origen's case. Was UoL really anywhere near the talent or level of Fnatic when they forced a game 5? Hell no they weren't. Nor is Origen.

But, you guys believe what you want. When worlds rolls around, and Xpeke is busy getting straight up dumpstered in lane, Soaz is picking garbage, and these guys have very little practice and dont win a single game in group stages, dont be surprised. Origen has to be the most overrated team in professional play atm.
