We’re excited to unveil three new additions to the LPL English casting team for this Summer. Below are the new voices and faces that will be joining Pastrytime, Atlus, and Spawn at our casting desk: Zack “Rusty” Pye You might have already spotted Rusty casting LPL Summer Week 2. This Australian native uses his experience as a former pro player to provide in-depth analysis as a color caster for the OPL and the LPL. Rusty also competitively played a number of games before discovering League of Legends. He successfully served as a team member on SQL/Gamecom, Mindfreak, The Chiefs Esports Club, and Legacy Esports. Devin "Froskurinn" Ryanne Mohr As a host of China Talk and a close follower of competitive Chinese League of Legends, Froskurinn is ready to bring her expertise to the desk as a color commentator. She’s been a former coach and analyst for RMU Esports, Roar, and Team Dignitas EU. Dominic “Sata” Roemer Sata is a play-by-play caster who you might recognize from the Best Zed NA tournament and the North America Collegiate Championship (NACC) Finals. For the past six months, Sata has been working at the NA LCS to learn more about the inner workings of a broadcast studio, level up his casting, and even refereed the URFitational. As we welcome these new faces, we also bid farewell to PapaSmithy. We wish him all the best at his new role at OGN and look forward to seeing him continue to shoutcast League of Legends in the future. Want to catch the new casters take on this week’s matches? LPL Summer Week 3 matches kick-off on Thursday, June 4 at 10:00pm PDT / Friday, June 5 at 3:00pm AEST.

Great changes here, but any chance the cast can stop looking like it is "live from your parent's basement, it is the LPL show!"

Is very hard to get into when the NA challenger casts from last season were a step up for the LPL live casts from last split.

The lacking audience and energy really takes a lot out of it. Would be like an NFL game being played with no crowd, and the announcers being the same level of excitement. It feels a bit awkward at times when compared to all of the other professional region casts, eee especially given how important the LPL is, being considered at worst the second best region, if not the first (or at least tied for the best region).

I remember watching Froskurinn's stream when she was playing but also watching viewer replays and giving input and advice. I even donated haha.

Great. Can we also have a stream of the original Chinese casting? Too? Maybe?
