The excitement is starting to build as we approach split playoffs worldwide. Top teams are battling it out to determine who will emerge as champions and will fly the flag for their regions at the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI). Currently, we’re putting the finishing touches on making sure that MSI is an amazing and memorable experience for all the players and fans. With the high demand to attend this international clash on the Rift, we’ve opened up more floor seats to add to the sold-out floor sections at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center for MSI. Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, April 11 at 7am PDT on the via the ticket page. Ticketholders will be able to sign-up to be gifted a Fnatic, TPA, SKT, or SSW championship skin for each day that they attend of the tournament. For example, if you attend all four days of 2015 MSI, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock your choice of four esports championship skins from the Fnatic, TPA, SKT, and SSW lineup. If you attend only one day, you’ll only have the opportunity to select one skin. During MSI, we want all esports fans around the world to be able to celebrate, so Fnatic, TPA, SKT, and SSW championship skins will return to the store. We’ll share more details about the other Mid-Season Invitational inspired in-game goodies and limited time sales in the coming weeks. The Mid-Season Invitational will not only let esports fans show their fandom on and off the Rift but we’ll also have plenty of League activities on-site including merchandise, opportunities to meet pro players, and more. We’ll provide a final roundup of everything you need to know about the Mid-Season Invitational when we get closer to the show. Stay tuned to Lolesports and catch the Playoff editions of PTL to stay updated as teams qualify for the Mid-Season Invitational. We can’t wait to see what region will emerge victorious on the international stage at the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational! Update: MSI ticketholders will now be able to sign up to be gifted a newly unveiled SSW championship skins for each day that they attend. The article has been updated to reflect this change.

All this about free skins, while I'm stuck in the west coast. I wish I could summoner 12 or summoner 4 over there

For real. It makes me so sad. We can have the NA LCS finals in Seattle for a few years yet nothing else. So sad for us.

DELDE115Apr 13, 20154 votes

LOL you know how stupid you just made yourself?

"it´s all about the free skins"....

The tickets cost like what, 20-30 bucks? PER DAY! (which would be 80/120$)

If you´re going for the free skins, you´ll just end up wasting more money for 4 skins (if you attend all of the days). Mean while I can get a 20 $ prepaid card and buy an entire bundle.

Why are you guys even mad about where the event is? It´s in the same country, meanwhile here in Europe, most of us have to pray for the LCS to enter in our country. Not to mention that national flights (for NA) cost less money than international flights (EU).

We Europeans need to fly to a different country for every MAJOR event, to a country that might not even speak an "international" language.

Man I´m lucky that the Europe finals are in my country (Spain), it´s even more lucky, they are being held in Madrid, where I live 15 minutes by car! The event could have been held in Sweden or Norway, but no, they are being held in my city.

Meanwhile the only thing you care for are free skins. Why dont you buy a ticket, and book a flight? Make it an adventure.

In the defense of LeaguePastry, I make this analogy. There are people on earth who are starving right now. Doesn't mean that I'm not gonna complain when I'm hungry...

Excuse me, you obviously didn't read what he said. He was wondering what all the hype was about over free skins. He said he would like to go to them, he never said anything about only wanting free skins.

leyne2Apr 14, 20152 votes

I can see your point about having to fly to different countries to go to an event but the scale of north America is much larger then Europe. just as an example to go from Boston to LA where the Lcs is usually held is 2611 miles (4202 km) by air away. you in Madrid could fly to St. Johns Newfoundland in Canada and it would be around the same distance (3942 km). For a frame of reference Madrid to Stockholm Sweden is 2596 km.

Does TwistedFate even get played that much anymore? Teleport in a pretty big radius every few minutes. Then you can flash in to place without a ticket (flash through the wall) or go to a random person as LeeSin , or tunnel around as RekSai or just hop over everything (somehow) with Nidalee / Leblanc

iRekklesApr 11, 20156 votes

Have they announced how we can apply for the free skins ?

XazuApr 10, 20153 votes

Ground floor for MSI sold out so quickly that I had to settle for lower section seats, and now that ground floor tickets are going up for sale again it makes me sad. If I knew more ground level tickets would become available I would have definitely saved my money..

JoxerApr 11, 20152 votes

Xazu, give a call to the DLTCC Box Office (phone number should be on your confirmation email or on the website under "contact us") tomorrow after the new seats are released @ 10am EST, and we can see if we can upgrade you to the floor area. We are expecting the floor seats to go very quickly again, so unfortunately I can't promise anything.

XazuApr 11, 20153 votes

I called the office and the lady I spoke to told me that they don't do exchanges. She then proceeded to try an sell me additional tickets.. I am still excited for MSI as it will be my first time attending an LOL tournament, but I am very disappointed with the situation and cant help but feel like I got 'bamboozled' (to refrain from using other words.)

RorshakApr 12, 20154 votes

same thing happened to me :( bought tickets then like almost 2 weeks later they open more. i call and they say sorry and try to sell me more tickets. not cool. very upsetting. and i bought tickets for all 4 days sigh....

What about SSW skins?

those aren't out yet

Sexy MistressApr 10, 20152 votes

Why would anyone go to a crowded, hot, stinky building to watch some people play video games... I'll never know.

Puddles89Apr 11, 201540 votes

You obviously don't have the love of league as some people do. Although you could watch the show on phone, computer, ipad, etc. its the same feeling as going to a concert or something along those lines. You go to experience the atmosphere and to try to meet new people who have the same interests as you, because obviously if you are there, you have a deep infatuation with League.

Will there be a wild card for a team that deserves to go to worlds but didnt make the standards in the play offs?

EvilScotsman1974Apr 11, 20151 votes

there is a wildcard team but i think its from the smaller lcs competitions, Oceania, Turkey, Russia, Japan, there is going to be a wild card invitational closer to the event and the winner of that event gets to go to the MSI

Jalepino KickApr 29, 20151 votes

TwistedFate ? Sorry, had to

Jag MastaApr 11, 20152 votes

How much are the tickets?

EvilScotsman1974Apr 11, 20151 votes

floor seats run about $46 each after booking fee and tax and then there is a $3 surcharge so its best if you are booking for multiple days to get them all at once so you dont have to pay the $3 each time

B01Apr 11, 20151 votes

When do the ssw skins come out :(

EvilScotsman1974Apr 11, 20151 votes

probably around the same time, the world championship skins came with the All star break last year which was held between the spring and summer splits so they will probably be released at the same time.

ChanticoApr 11, 20151 votes

I'm going to be there! I am so excited and now free skins too! woot woot thank you Riot!

EvilScotsman1974Apr 11, 20151 votes

already got tickets for 2 days and maybe looking at getting tickets for the other 2 then i will have to decide which skins i want as i already have a couple of the skt t1 and tpa skins already.

So looking forward to being there first live LCS event it is gonna be great

The TipApr 13, 20151 votes

I was so excited to go when I heard about this event being in Florida. But knowing that "(they)’ll also have plenty of League activities on-site including merchandise, opportunities to meet pro players, and more", brings it to a new level. I have a question though. Does this: "The Mid-Season Invitational will not only let esports fans show their fandom on and off the Rift" mean I can dress up for the occasion? Probably something simple, like Panda Annie Annie ...
