2018 Season World Championship

My question is about Worlds 2018 to be more specific the results of group A. I don't get how you, Riot, thinks that making a team play 1 game for a tiebreaker is in any way fair if the losing team won the first match versus the opponent. So i mean how does it make any sense that G2 esports advances by winning 1 "tiebreaker match" against Flash Wolves this doesn't prove they are the better team at all because flash wolves won the first match against G2 and now they are kicked out because they lost 1 tiebreaking match. What i mean with this is why don't you make tiebreaking matches a best out of 3 series this would be the most fair process cause a team can always play 1 bad match and afterwords still end up winning a series right ? haven't we seen this enough in lol esports throughout the years ? Just take a look at season 6 worlds finals where SKT lost big time to SSG in the first 2 matches but won the last 3 . Probably this will be ignored at your company like most of the complaints but i just ask myself how RIOT can let something so unjustful happen to Flash wolves who are out of WORLDS 2018 because of 1 match losing to a team they won from in the previous group match.

I see where you're coming from, but if you think about it, it's already a best of 3. G2 wins a game... FW wins a game... so technically the tiebreaker game would be a game 3.

I don't even get the third vote option.

They only go to a tiebreaker if they won once from each other regardless. It is exactly as IncrediPhiLL said - it is already a best of three. The final, single tiebreaker makes it a best of three (they each already won a game in the series). It

If you wanted Flash Wolves to advance, you should've told them to ban Heimerdinger - Flash wolves likely are the better team, but their prep clearly sucks if they skipped Step 1 of preparing to face G2 Esports. But no, the result is completely fair.

Tiebreakers for a group stage comprised of Best of 1 games should be Best of 1s. It just makes sense. The group stage is testing your ability to win Bo1 games, so why would you use a Bo3 to tiebreak?
