Yes. One of these days NA is going to get super lenient on the "import slots rule", and SKT will use it to their advantage to win both the NALCS and LCK, becoming the first team to win worlds while also winning 2 different regions.

Yes, the region is getting better despite all the online trolls and eventually NA money will train and buy the best talent in the world. How long that will take is unknown though.

No real disrespect but when the IWC teams are outperforming the NA teams for the past 2 years you have to think they could win a World Championship before NA.

NA vs IWC head to head at Worlds 2013-2016 NA 4-4 IWC 4-4

Not to mention before this past year NA gets an auto locked #1 Seed but they earned it this year at MSI, so the IWC teams are always in some type of group with either the #1 LCK team or the #1 LPL team or like in 2014 both. While NA is in a group with either the #2 LMS(2014 and 2015) an IWC(2014,2015,2016) - #3 EU seed(2014,2015,2016)

NA total record in the Groups 13-16 with 11 teams is 30-42 IWC total record in the Groups 13-16 with only 7 teams to represent is 9-36.
Worse no doubt but when the IWC teams are in tougher groups each year it's to be expected but no one expected ALB to make it out and ... they did same can't be said for TSM.

NA is doing worse and worse each year at Worlds their constantly getting huge leads TSM 4-1 2014 only to lose to SK to be the #2 in the group LMQ started 2-0 in 2014 only to lose their next 4 games ending 2-4 CLG started 2-0 in 2015 only to lose their next 4 games ending 2-4 TSM started 1-1 in 2015 only to lose their next 4 games ending 1-5 C9 started 3-0 in 2015 only to lose their next 4 games ending 3-4 TSM-C9-CLG all 2-1 either tied in 1st place with their opponents or 1 game ahead if not 2 because of the other teams beating certain teams and all 3 ending 3-3 winning only 1 game and losing 2 out of their last 3 games.

Yeah I don't have much confidence in NA to win anything other than their NA LCS games

I kind of don't know why you went through the history of that but okay. The way I see it, every year gets some kind of different jazz out of the teams that attend the world championships. Specifically this year, NA did good and made fans believe but in the end it was not good enough. Those kind of records of the past to me are like grains of salt; not red lights of permanent failure. There's a reason why I said NA vs CN to win first and it's not because of their international record.

History doesn't have an opinion it's fact.

Agree NA isn't a failure as a region but their past Worlds have been mainly this year where TSM was put on a mantle that was too high for them.
To me this was NA best chance at winning Worlds with the talent that was on the NA's teams and the hype coming in. TSM 17-1 coming in to worlds with so much confidence and yet still lost do you think this next year TSM will out do themselves and go 18-0 or have a better season I don't. CLG do you think they will gather up their old "magic" like at MSI for a full split doubt it, similar to this past year where they were great Spring but was meh during the summer.

Long story short look at the players in NA ATM Bjergsen,D-Lift,Aphromoo,Froggen,Xmithie,Darshan,Sneaky,Meteos,Sven these are players that have been playing for 4-5 years in the pro scene if not 5-6 years all together before the LCS scene was created they don't have much time left before they do something else and retire.

Then you need to look at the up and coming stars that will represent NA in the future Big,hard,Moon,KFC, do you honestly think they will be as good as Bjerg or Lift or Aprho?
Dardoch/Huni/Reignover/Jensen/Santorin/ are the real Stars for the next generation and honestly there are flaws to each one.

Dardoch has been suspended,Trade,benched in his short 1 year pro career not a good record for a young talent that needs to be humble because it's to be expected when your facing power house teams such as TSM-C9-CLG-IMT on Team Liquid. If he was toxic on TL I CAN'T WAIT to see how he reacts on a much worse team on Echo Fox.
Jensen same thing while he has been good (so far) while he has been winning wait until Sneaky decides to hang up his mouse and retire he has been the reason why C9 has been relevant even during their worst split. He's also been known to be a rage type of player that has been suspended multiple times in solo Q and reason why he didn't start his career in 2013.
Santorin never ganks or does anything so Huni and Reignover are a package deal it seems and Huni has made comments on going to Korea to be on a pro scene, Reingover will follow because "Thunder buddies for Life"

You have clearly taken this too far to heart and I do not feel like bringing any more out of you. You do however answer the "will NA ever win" part pretty well. You just didn't really give me anything of if CN will win before them given the amount of issues that region has itself (if EDG ultimately loses this series)

XD, I'm not just trying to explain my opinions. I'm not being toxic or taking this to heart, and if I come off as rude please forgive me.

Apart from 2 World Championship Finals appearances from the LPL 2013 RNG vs SKT and 2014 RNG vs SSW.

2013 OMG def TSM 32-14 in Kills OMG def TSM 43-13 in Kills ( 2-0 TSM) 2 LPL teams made it to QT Finals, and where RNG made it to the Finals to face SKT but to only lose.

2014 RNG def TSM 25-5 in Kills TSM def RNG 21-15 in kills ( 1-1) with the TSM winning needing 50 mins to do so LMQ def OMG 23-8 in kills OMG def LMQ 15-5 in kills ( 1-1) All 3 LPL teams made it to QT Finals. OMG getting out of the QT Finals eliminating Najin White Shield a team that NA C9 had trouble facing and losing to 1-2 in Groups but OMG swept Najin 3-0. Royal faced their own LPL team EDG in a 3-2 series and same thing in the second round against OMG in a 3-2 series only to lose yet again to a LCK team SSW in a 3-1 series.

2015 Was the weakest year from the LPL teams C9 def Invictus 23-16 in kills Invictus def C9 29-14 in kills and resulted C9 to be eliminated from Worlds TSM def LGD 27-14 in kills LGD def TSM 29-13 in Kills Edward Gaming made it to QT Finals only to be eliminated in the round against Fnatic.

2016 ( SPOILERS ) BELOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! if you haven't seen certain games so far NA was coming into Worlds as a heavy favorite besides the LCK while LPL was nothing but a ? C9 def IMAY 13-6 in Kills C9 def IMAY 25-18 in Kills RNG def TSM 17-7 in Kills RNG def TSM 22-11 in Kills( eliminated them from Worlds) Royal and EDG made it out of Groups

So looking at LPL and NA 2013/// 2 LPL teams made it out of Groups while 0 for NA made it out 2014/// 3 LPL teams made it out of Groups while 2 for NA made it out 2015/// 1 LPL team made it out of Groups while 0 for NA made it out 2016/// 2 LPL teams made it out of Groups while 1 for NA made it out

14 Games were between NA and LPL at Worlds NA won 6 with 209 total Kills LPL won 8 with 289 total kills

Here's the best way to conclude this: CN has performed better than NA overall using their own aggressive play style. Both regions however legitimately show struggles and issues not only in their macro but in the pressure and mentality at the point in time.

And domestically, you have the LPL which looks like a helpless bloodbath for a million dollars most of the time, and the NALCS which is like 3 hopefuls, Liquid, and the rest are practically nobodies. What kind of good can you take out of the regions aside their individual talents? This is why I wonder who would win first given their reputations.

Talent is the answer plain and simple I mean I don't recall LCK or LPL wanting or signing any NA talent vice versa ... Other than CoreJJ but he's Korean so 50/50 and once he went to SSG they were an instant LCK playoff team while before he joined they were in the gutter in the LCK standings but while in NA he was on DIG and they sucked. I don't know what else to say, given their reputations LPL has made it to 2 Straight Finals, multiple Semi Finals and numerous QT Finals, while NA hasn't made it out of Groups... EVER( well I think TSM made it out in season 1 when no Korean teams played but that was before the official League scene was created 5 Years ago in Season 1.

NA has a chance to win a World championship if only NA changes their Rule about only having certain amount of foreign players until they will stay where they are now.

I don't think I'll ever get your point as you may never get mine. I just say NA has as much of a chance as anyone else if they actually show up when it matters. A lot thought it was this year and it wasn't. It was definitely a reality check though. And it all starts again at IEM.

Yeah I mean NA has a chance to win Worlds but they won't but they can give it another go in a year and so on and etc.
My money on who will win Worlds first NA or LPL, I'm going with the region that not only have shown to dominate NA but has made it to multiple Finals.

What else is there besides talent that decides who wins and who loses ? You can't teach talent sure you can get better at something but overall it's going to be the same tone over and over again. NA has always stated " we got eliminated at Worlds but next year BABY!" ok and the hardwork and "talent" showed to be missing from them.

Macro play is decided from talent it's not a god given trait that you are born with and NA has yet to show any macro that works for the past 6 years so clearly their macro sucks and their talent also(Compared to the other regions)

An NA team won The International in DOTA2 last year after a long period of that game being dominated by Korea and China.

It's not IMPOSSIBLE for that to happen in LoL either.

What are you on about? Korea isn't even remotely good in Dota 2. China and Europe kept fighting it out for the past years, until, yes, NA won The International, but for 3 years now NA wasn't irrelevant. Dota was never dominated by Asians so stop spewing out that bullshit and go brush your teeth.

I don't really follow DOTA2 personally, so I was just going by what the friends of mine who do follow it said.

And they were telling me NA was considered a third-tier region compared to the Asian region squads there too until EG won it so... shug

Well, they were wrong. NA is on par with China and EU. You really can't say what team is going to win the International until it actually happens.
