Hello Riot,

In your recent "The Penta" episode about All-Star Event for LPL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tU1CchhLRVQ Riot Games Inc. Name this episode "The Penta: China All-Stars". But the region maps in the video do not include the Taiwan Island, which is against the value of me as a Chinese and lots of Chinese players.

I totally understand the historical issues we have between 2 sides of the Taiwan Strait and I know it confuses foreigners most times. But this lack of Taiwan island in the maps is not the value I could not accept.** When talk, write or mention the concept of China, please respect the fact that the official name of the government in charge of Taiwan area is "the Republic of China" **and Taiwan Island area should not be excluded in any Chinese map/Graph. Both sides belong to one China!

Also, I have noticed that you have posted a different version of the same video in China, within which the Taiwan Island is included. http://lpl.qq.com/es/video_detail.shtml?nid=16178 This means Riot Games Inc. totally understand there are issues around this topic. but** I don’t understand why one company could hold 2 different values at the same time.**

If the name of the video is "The Penta: LPL All-Stars", then the map is appropriate while u still needs to fix the logo next to the map labeling China., but if the name is related to China, please include the Taiwan island in the maps.

The LPL doesn't cover Taiwan. It has the LMS

But I'm sure your government is appreciative of your support for their political position.

Yes, you are right the LPL does not cover Taiwan area, then use LPL in the vid, why Riot use china and play double side trick? LPL ≠ China and LMS ≠ Taiwan Either Riot corrects it as LPL or changes the map.

It's not only a political thing, it's something much bigger.

No, it's literally only a political thing.

After the war and CKS' exile to Taiwan, both sides claim to be the real China. The US recognized the Republic of China as the real China until the 70s (most relevantly in the UN), at which point the policy changed such that the US recognized the People's Republic of China as the real China, which continues to this day. However, outside of mainland (PRC) propaganda, nobody really acknowledges Taiwan as belonging to the mainland government, and nobody takes any claim Taiwan has on the mainland seriously, either.

I understand that dissent is actively punished in China, both by social engineering and by law enforcement. I forgive you for not having any choice in the matter, because the decision is out of your hands. But you might also notice something from my post: In the US, China means mainland PRC. It simply does not refer to Taiwan. It's only politics.

The situation right now is the continues of the Chinese civil war. If 7th fleet did not sail in the Taiwan Strait, nor US did not start Korean war, there would be no more ROC. Till now, there's no official statement about either peace or truce, the war between ROC and PRC is still continuing. But both sides belong to One China.
