I don't know why anybody gives a crap about the NA > EU or EU > NA thing. RR was fun but people are making a big deal out of it and they shouldn't. While I'd prefer my favorite team (C9) win, I would like it if an EU team won as long as it's not KR, because they've been dominating for the past few years.

NA sucks, and Europe is better than NA. Just stop saying EU > NA in NA MATCH LIVESTREAMS.

The problem is that people who write NA > EU have no foundation for this statment. In the last years EU was always greater than NA. So it's a logic reaction from EU fans on this posts with EU>NA.

We didn't start it. It's NA's delusional thinking when they say 'wow NA looking good, This Time We Are going to Win Worlds'. So need to show them the reality and put them to the dirt. EU never was delusional about winning world, we don't go on and brag about it every time going into the Worlds. We realistically know our place and our chances, but for some reason NA is always delusional coming into Worlds.

Of course, any smart person know that sh-tty fanboys and trolls are on both sides that fuel the rivalry/"hate". The problem is that there are a lot of what are usually reasonable NA fans that become delusional every time NA teams show something good and join the sh-tty NA fanboys and trolls, so it is usually NA side that start the whole NA>EU and trigger the EU side to respond

It is mostly on NA fanbase to stop pushing the NA vs EU rivalry towards that direction they usually go

same I am a big fan of NA lcs but i still cheer for EU teams in the world championship (hell if MSF somehow win the tournament us TSM fans can say we lost to the champions)

Totally agree. I hoped TSM would go far because they looked really good in the games that I watched from their Summer split and Rift Rivals. I had them placed on #1 of their group. Too bad another Chinese team takes away that spot. I'm really surprised that Misfits outdid TSM. I have a lot less faith in them, but maybe they deserve more. I always said Misfits is too inconsistent (as a rookie team) but they managed to somehow barely sputter through everything so far. 2/3 chance that they'll face a dominant LCK team but against RNG I won't count them out yet. Same with C9, btw. I can see them win a bo5 vs RNG. Won't be easy, probably a 40/60 in favour of RNG. Funny thing is that if C9 gets 2nd, RNG is guaranteed to face a western team. :)

Group of life was it for you this time? No? Ohhh, but NA didn't get any other NA team in their group, to have a better chance of getting out of group. Lucky EU they got NA teams in their groups, that is the only reason they made it out. And for tomorrow here is the prediction.

So, to NA fans, we know about our region. We are not delusional, we know we are bad. But we also know that we are not bad as YOU ARE. So never bs about NA > EU again, you need to have reasonable basis for that argument which you never had. Hell, we even won worlds Season 1, you don't even have that in your favor.

I don't like this attitude. I honestly don't care whether NA or EU is the better than the other. The fact is that they're both not as good as they should be and should work on that TOGETHER. I think if NA en EU teams would work together, refine the meta together, think together, play together, they could probably beat China and even have a look at Korea. We shouldn't be focussing about outdoing eachother. We should be focussing about outdoing those above us. Once we're at the top (if that ever happens), THEN we can quarrel about EU vs NA.

Because honestly, the skill level is really similar now. At some points NA shines at other points EU shines, sometimes they're both dim. In this worlds it could've gone either way. Both EU/NA matchups gone to a tie breaker that EU won. Any of those 7 games could've gone different for each team. There were many close games that were ultimately decided by a single teamfight. I'm glad that Misfits made it out, but I'd prefer to see TSM instead of WE on that #1 spot.

I think its funny when the EU vs NA thing starts happening, TSM could be getting smashed like they did tonight and still have "NA>EU" and vice versa. Its even worse when TSM signing half of EU is a meme in NA. I seriously think TSM in general feeds this fire because of shit talking that cant be backed coming from Doublelift and Hauntzer.

If you don't win it doesn't matter how far you got. All those teams lost as soon as they faced Koreans. That's really all it proves. Once a team beats the Koreans then I might care how far they got. I actually have more respect for 2016 TSM than H2k cause they took a game off Samsung galaxy during groups. Both C9 and H2K lost badly against them.
