Worlds for countries
Why isnt there a tournament for countries to compete , for example in soccer and basketball there is worlds for both countries and clubs. Shouldnt there be a world championship in league of legends for nations?

In short, no. That's just not possible right now. It's fine as is given the pros and cons of changes per year.
Realistically though, you can call the domestic competitions its own tournament. But to have a tournament for countries to compete, that would bring forth issues of regions with multiple countries involved: EU, LMS, GPL, CIS, and even LNN or CLS to an extent are a few (GPL can be omitted because they already somewhat do a conference system among the 6 separate regions that make it). It would already be hectic if each individual country had its own tournament plus it can't be compared to sports because of the lack of eligible and flexible players in that extent for most of those regions.
Because lol isn't established enough and there isn't enough money for the players to travel back and forth to their country practices and tryouts and the like and then back to their pro team. Further, soccer has a lot more viable players than does lol.
