League of Legends: Team Griffin gets fined $85,000 USD, Former Director Cho Gyu-nam gets Banned Indefinitely.

Fun Fact is that one of committee of Riot Korea is also a director of Team Griffin. Right now in Korean community no one agrees with how Riot Korea decided, and they are saying that Griffin got a slap on a wrist or 'Charity begins at Home'. And even people are deciding to have a boycott, with nonsense decision made by Riot Korea. I mean is there anything Riot games can do with Riot Korea?

Weird, it was to my understanding that a lot of people thought it was too much of a punishment

Maybe the fine for Griffin is light, but indefinite bans for the director and coach seem pretty strong. I think you've got things confused.

I mean when Tencent took over that's when league took a nosedive. It can't really get any worse.
