Hey Bros,

Just curious what the current thoughts are from all of you on the best team in NA LCS at the moment. Standings aside, which team do you think has the most potential for success this season? Would also love to see you defend your choice in the discussion below. Nothing like a spirited debate ;)

As of this moment? Or overall? The question shifts based on time focus.

I'd say that C9 remains at the very top as of this moment, the recent loss to Dignitas besides. Your informal poll'll say otherwise, of course - witness the raw power of the TSM hype machine - but they were effectively untouchable all last year, and still remain the most North American team at their level of play.

But overall? That's a lot murkier. TSM's improved massively with the Bjergsen pickup. Dignitas finally looks serious again (though I'm not holding my breath - they had a sustained spike last year too yet couldn't hold it together). Even CLG showed that their strategic planning's been refined, if not necessarily their capability to execute. And down in the Challenger Series, LMQ's stomping boots are downright muddy with the viscera of their victims.

Who is the best team across NA? Ask me again at the end of summer.

It's gotta be CLG with this amount of potential! clg.s4.secrets.gg

I have a bias to TSM. :^) I love seeing my old teammates do well. I was pretty sad when Regi said he was going to stop playing, but the European has been a great addition!

tsm ftw!

Has to be TSM.

C9 will be the best team this year. But the TSM fanboys are going to out weigh this poll.

Scarra and Team Dignitas will always have a place in my heart. Don't get me wrong, the other teams in LCS are great and I appreciate all NA teams, but Dignitas will always be my favorite :)

take EU midlaner, put him in NA team, win LCS. that's how it work guys

Im a huge Coast fan, but by far the best right now are C9 and TSM. Dig comes in at third, and this isnt just from their records but performance wise. So far Dignitas is the only team this split to beat C9. TSM is stronger than ever with Bjergsen in the mid lane and C9 is just as consistent as they were last year. If they continue this level of play then they are most likely the three going to worlds this year. However, its only the 3rd week of the Spring Split, anything could happen. Last spring everyone counted out Coast and they came back to take second place. XDG has the same lineup, Zuna just needs to get his act together in the jungle. EG needs time to acclimate to the NA meta, Curse has a new lineup, and as far as CLG is concerned....well, at least they make the game interesting to watch.

TL;DR- C9 and TSM are the powerhouses but anything could happen.

The mindless followers of TSM are kinda upset me...

**TSM and DIG is the strongest team in NA right now . This is coming from a CST fan but Im pretty sure COAST will shine and be top 5 atlest at the end of this split . They are really good if you watch their stream then you will know what Im talking about they just need to work a bit more **

TSM Will probably win this year, well they have a good chance at it.

I think its going to be between C9, TSM, or DIG. they are all strong teams and are making very good plays. I would have to say TSM will take it, but if Hai on C9 gets Teemo then gg

TSM is looking strong right now but I just feel like Cloud 9 is so strong in every role. They team fight well, rotate well, and make good calls on a very consistent basis. In a best 2 out of 3 I'm taking C9 every time!

Briefly, TSM is the best team across NA LCS esspeacialy with Bjergsen who is (for me) the best mid laner accros the world.

Sandshadows2/2/2014, 4:02:16 PM1 votes

I personally think Dignitas is the strongest along with TSM and C9, i just feel like Dig wasnt ready for the first week resulting in a 0-2 early start, but now that they destroyed C9 and the rest of the lcs, they have confidense to take out tsm. I feel tsm is over hyped. If Bjergerson has a bad game they will lose, which he only has had a bad game against C9 which turned into a loss. TSM is too reliant on mid and as soon as Scarra or hai wins then TSM loses.

I would like to see more plays from Dyrus. He seems to be kinda slacking from the old days. He's a great player but it seems like TSM just has him on the team because he is a safe pick.

I cant vote on polls for whatever reason

TSM

Serphira2/1/2014, 4:51:58 PM1 votes

I look at it like this. We can all argue that the top two teams in the NA LCS will be TSM and Cloud 9 with Dignitas following at a close third. But lets say someone like myself votes for Curse (which I did). Now I know I'll get those wide eyed looks when people read this and wonder what I was thinking. But Curse is a team I support. Yes they have had their ups and their downs, but nonetheless I will still be behind them. I think as long as you are behind a team and believe that they can be good, then maybe, just maybe they will be.
