Beşiktaş and Dark Passage face off in the 2015 Turkish Grand Finals
The 2015 Turkish Champions League regular season has come to an end. Now, after eight months of constant competition, the Turkish Grand Finals will decide who is the top team between Beşiktaş e-Sports Club and Dark Passage. The two teams faced off all through the year but never for a prize so big: The chance to represent Turkey in the 2015 International Wildcard Tournament, the final stop before moving on to Worlds!
Beşiktaş e-Sports Club
Starting the season with a great bang, Beşiktaş secured the top spots in the 2015 TCL Winter Split Finals and the International Wild Card Invitational to represent Turkey and the rest of the Wildcard regions at the Mid-Season Invitational.
Even though they were a newly formed team, they held the perfect balance between promising rookies and seasoned players and they displayed this with Berke "Thaldrin" Demir's Hecarim's performance and Mustafa "Dumbledoge" Kemal Göksel's crazy carry support play style. Later parting ways with Muhammed "Theokoles" Işık and Isak Energy Pettersen Fjell for the Summer Split and replacing them with Mustafa "avenuee" Atalay and Arttu "Taikki" Sirkka, Beşiktaş wants to finish the season the way they started -- on top.
Dark Passage
Dominating the last two seasons, Dark Passage is ready to claim back their spot as the best team in Turkey after their loss at the Winter Split Finals in the 2015 Season. Fueled by their defeat to Beşiktaş, Dark Passage have made significant changes to their bottom lane duo and welcomed a new coach to the team.
These changes brought great rewards for Dark Passage as they got back on their undefeated track after the fifth week of the Summer Split. Lead by star player Koray "Naru" Bıçak, Dark Passage have their eyes set on the Turkish Grand Finals cup and a convincing victory against their newfound rivals, Beşiktaş. This win would also grant the team their second chance to represent Turkey at the World Championship.
The Turkish Grand Finals will showcase the great matches between Beşiktaş e-Sports Club and Dark Passage in a Best of 5 series. You can catch the TCL action via lolespor.com on August 8 at 1:30 PM CET/4:30 AM PDT.
