I am thinking of opening an E Sports bar in Miami, Florida and wanted to see if there was real interest for this type of business or if you would rather play from home? OR would you like to have a local watering hole where you can go meet other gamers and watch streams instead of the same old sports highlights over and over again.... Appreciate the feedback and support!

305King1 votesappreciate the feedback Humphrey07. I heard about that also and e-sports is def going to see a huge year in 2016. I will let you if I pull the trigger on this. I am just waiting to see if there is a market in Miami. I know this exists on the west coast but I dont know how Miami gamers feel. We do have ALOT of options when it comes to happy hour or going out in general so I dont know if its viable here.

B00B002 votesbest thing to do, is create a pop-up Esports viewing party for the play off's final or something so this gives you time to scout locations, find and book and fund it, then if you get a big turn out you know its viable, at the event be sure to hand out business cards and flyers to help spread the word, having done this you will of had your way ''into'' the esports/gamers'' scene in miami, use facebook and twitter ALOT.

I voted No... as in I wouldn't go regularly. Possible that I might go for Split finals or some of the World Champ matches. But not regularly.
B00B001 votesyeh a lot of people probably would go regular but im'm doubtful of enough to sustain it so other sports need to be shown too, make sure to make it all current too, foozeball (table football) tables, handls that fold down so you can just play between courses while sitting and chilling, tv's in booths so you can select your sport, shit hanging up, darts (this just a EU thing? not sure) - beer pong tables, just everything you could want in a fun bar as lets be honest we sports fans love to fuck around and have a bet

75299289DEL21 votesSure man I'd go definitely! This has a good place for tourists without PC like me, in Spain we have a bar like that, is called Pixel Bar and its always full of people! They make hamburguers and stuff to eat with the beer, definitely a recommended place for gamers meetings... Wish i had one here
