Shortapple1 votesNews released yesterday in China: Play-in and groups tickets are going to be released on a Chinese ticketing platform on Aug 24 at 3 pm Beijing time (translates into 8/24 3 am Eastern and 12 am Pacific), restricted to 2 tickets per Tencent lol account with a certain minimum summoner lvl...which ofc us in NA don't have. I hope there is an alternative for people not actively playing league in China =_=

Shortapple1 votesGroups is pretty much all sold out by now, but tickets are being offered on damai.cn you NEED a Chinese sever league account with at least lvl 20 summoner to purchase, and it's limited to 2 tickets per account (per show/game day)

apparently a small portion of tickets were withheld for international purchase, I wonder if there are any good seats left.

Yup, The summoner level and Tencent account limitation is put in place to limit how many tickets get snatched by resellers, just to give you an idea, at this very moment, in-field front row tickets are going for almost 10x the original price for week day tickets in the groups stage and 6-8x the original price for weekend groups on the Chinese "ebay".
And Shanghai is only semi, the final is at the bird nest in Beijing
