Hi my name is Brian Omlang, I am a starting freshman in high school and play league. Since esports is getting more popular not just in colleges but in high schools and i wanted to start a club based on esports in high school for league of legends. One of my friends had a idea of wanting to start a club for league and some other guys had the same thing in mind when we attended our freshman introduction on Wednesday and we had a look at the clubs. They were pushing a lot of students to do Athletic clubs like Basketball, Baseball, Football, Volleyball, Cross-country, and soccer. But a lot of students who don't have that athletic capability like throwing a ball or dribbling a ball don't get to be on the team, and other clubs like the Robotics team and Math team. But a lot of them have a really big interest in esports and gaming. SInce joining a club is mandatory i wanted to try starting a club for students who have similar interest in esports gaming like me in my school. I wanted to see how i can present this to my school in a way to show them that esports can benefit students like any other sport. Students will be able to attend school while doing the thing they have a passion for. I wanted to ask people for tips on how i can start a club like this and hopefully start something down in South florida.

The thing is, at least in my school, it isn't too difficult to start a club. As for the details, make it so that people have to bring their own equipment. Because I doubt school technology is very good. My school is still using Windows XP. School internet can also be really bad, so holding it in a non-school place would probably be a good idea, unless you're playing on the LAN server, which is located in Miami. Just expect a ton of Spanish speaking people.

I did this and hosted all games, Starcraft II, LoL, CS:GO, CoD and so on and did like a look back in the week idea. We also tried putting together school teams to play the ladder :) Say you went to Fake School, so the team name would be sometihng like Fake School Red or Fake School Alpha (abv FSR or FSA)
