Who is representing NALCS?

I read the rules, and I've been able to find out three ways to qualify: getting the most points, winning the summer split finals, and... something else.

Who is going to worlds? And who is it a contest between? I'm sure there are those among us who can understand this better than I can.

IF TSM beats Cloud 9/ TSM who are already qualified for Worlds already will be 1st Seed while Counter Logic Gaming will also be qualified for Worlds from championship points. IF That happens Team Liquid and Envy will be in the first round of the World Tournament and who ever wins that series will face Cloud 9 and who ever wins that series will face in the final round Immortals.

IF CLoud 9 beats TSM/ Cloud 9 will be the 1st seed and qualify for Worlds while TSM will be the 2nd seed off championship points.( I Know makes no sense to crown 1st Seed off the summer split like what makes summer more important over Spring but rules are rules) IF C9 does win Team Liquid and Envy will face each other in the first round as before and Immortals will be in the 2nd round and Counter Logic Gaming will be in the final round.

TSM is definitely going, the rest is still up in the air.

Unless C9 somehow manages to beat TSM, CLG will go.

TSM is guaranteed, C9 and CLG could also go as well

None of this makes any sense to me. They need to stop this asinine point system thing they got going and just have a more traditional playoff system.

so.... from what you'd all said: It's confusing as hell. But now that the finals have finished, it looks like TSM won the finals(and get to go), and CLG got the most points (so they get to go)... the third team then is decided in some sort of competition between the losers?(the next question is if that includes those that finished 2nd and 3rd in the finals. )

I'll get it over with and just bet the two dollars in my wallet that IMT goes to worlds.

The real question is who gets placed in an A, B or C spot. More rules that don't make any sense to someone like me since they've never been implemented before.

If TSM wins tomorrow they go on to Worlds by being the split champions and CLG gets in on points, I believe.

If C9 win then they go on to Worlds by being the split champs and TSM gets in on points.

The third team is whoever gets through the Gauntlet but right now the odds on favorite are IMT because they only have to play one best of five instead of multiple ones.

So right now, TSM's the only sure thing.
