Fantasy Cheat Sheet: Summer 2016 Week 9
This is it. Don't get scared now. We've reached the final week of the Fantasy LCS Summer Split and league champions are about to be crowned. Loyalty is weakness today. Anyone with a bad schedule needs to be dropped like a Teemo shroom and replaced with a better option. Just be sure to drop them late enough that your opponent can't pick them up (if it looks like they'd be an upgrade for them) -- or try to lure them by dropping a big name with an awful schedule.

- OG: Toaster is SPLITTING time with xPeke. Avoid both.

Week 9 Studs
These dominant players have everything they need to crush the competition this week. We expect them to be among the best in their role for fantasy.
- TOP Impact (vs. FOX, TL): You can gamble on Huni or Hauntzer, who face each other this week, or go with the other reliable top laner. I prefer the safe pick.
- JUN Trick (vs. VIT, FNC): Has been steady (almost) all season. Should be an easy 70+ points, like usual.
- MID Bjergsen (vs. IMT, NRG): Don't let that P1 hiccup scare you. Bjergsen looked delightfully vindictive in the follow-up match and will continue to dominate this week.
- ADC Zven (vs. VIT, FNC): If you feel strongly about who will win the TSM-IMT matchup, you could go with WildTurtle or Doublelift. But, once again, I'll take the safer pick.
- SUP Biofrost (vs. IMT, NRG): These games should be bloody, and little frosty will be there to clean up the mess. 76 combined points against these teams previously.

Week 9 Underdogs
You may have doubted these players, but we think they'll outperform expectations this week and be worth a starting spot -- despite only being owned in less than 50% of Fantasy LCS leagues.
- TOP Ray (vs. TL, CLG): Ray doesn't care who he plays against. He gets points, and should be a no-brainer sub if he's available for pickup.
- JUN Trashy (vs. OG, UOL): The #4 jungler is still unowned in most leagues. Grab him now for a great final week!
- MID Fenix (vs. C9, APX): Sencux is another great option, so follow your heart. Fenix is my slight preference, thanks to that awesome 67-point match against APX earlier this year.
- ADC Kobbe (vs. OG, UOL): There's no other choice here. This top-tier ADC is bafflingly still available in most leagues.
- SUP Smoothie (vs. FOX, TL): I almost put him as the stud pick, but the TL matchup adds a little risk. Is the team's full-time starter now and was the #1 support last week.

Week 9 Benchwarmers
Even the best players run into bad matchups that'll spoil their Fantasy scores from time to time. You shouldn't risk starting these high-scoring picks, but you can't afford to drop them either -- stash them safely on your bench for this week.
- FNC's Rekkles: It's been a fun ride this Split, but FNC has finally run into a wall as other teams up their strategic play, and G2 looks ready to bash their heads in.
- NV's Seraph: I'm bummed. Early on, NV's Week 9 schedule against P1 and FOX looked like an easy win for the up-and-rising NV squad. But Seraph and friends have been slumping while P1 have been climbing. There's just too much risk here for me, and wins against FOX aren't exceptionally points-heavy.
Good Luck!
Put on your brave face and get ready to anxiously check Fantasy LCS scores every few seconds this weekend. Best of luck, and remember to enjoy watching all the matches, which you can find on the NA LCS Schedule and EU LCS Schedule.
