Expanding NACS

I wonder why the NACS is only 6 teams. Wouldn't it be cool of we had a way to grow talent and then let players be picked up by LCS team. Sort of like a triple A baseball team with players getting pulled up to the majors. The Amateur scene in NA is pretty dead right now, or has absolutely no coverage even though there are a lot of players who could make it up into LCS or at least the NACS. Just a thought to expand the scene.

This is not due to NACS format though. The talent has to develop even before getting to CS, CS and LCS must be the final step of the growing process of the players The Amateur scene in NA has ALWAYS been pretty dead, that's why there are few NA born talent and NA has been the major region with the worst hresults historically Check on esportspedia or lolpedia how many tournaments are organized outside of Riot events in NA compared to the other regions, you can see that in NA there is no thrid party organizers that do something comparable to third party organizers of the other regions. In S5 NA had only 1 big amateur/semi pro tournament outside Riot organized events and was HTC Ascension, in the other major regions there were dozen of amateur tournaments even bigger than HTC Ascension (example PGL or dreamhack tournaments for EU, KeSPA and Demcaia Cup for KR, etc...) In Na the third party organizers prefer to do those open tournaments from bronze to diamond just to get people to visti sites and get money and not to sell competitive play entertainement, that's the issue, and Riot can't just solve this by changing NACS fromat, because you would still lack the competitive undergound other regions have
