Fantasy Cheat Sheet: Summer 2016 Week 5
Right when I thought we were starting to get a handle on relative team strength, EU went totally crazy! I hope the wild upsets didn't hurt you too much in Fantasy LCS last week. But, even if they did, you can recover and take advantage of the new info this week!

Week 5 Studs
These dominant players have everything they need to crush the competition this week. We expect them to be among the best in their role for fantasy.
- TOP Seraph (vs. FOX, TL): Struggled alongside the rest of NV last week, but faces perfect opponents to score Week-3 points again (#1 top laner that week, against CLG and IMT).
- JUN Spirit (vs. G2, GIA): Tough matchups, but FNC have proven they're ready for the challenge. #1 jungler overall, only outside the top 4 once.
- MID Fox (vs. VIT, UOL): #3 mid laner against two very beatable teams with the #13 and #19 fantasy mid laners. Yes, please!
- ADC Sneaky (vs. TL, IMT): Has never been below the #3 ADC spot this Split, and has perfect opponents that both give up lots of points. Set to explode.
- SUP Yellowstar (vs. G2, GIA): Highest potential in support position and hasn't put up a bad fantasy week yet (86, 63, 72, 83). I think he holds strong even against tougher opponents.

Week 5 Underdogs
You may have doubted these players, but we think they'll outperform expectations this week and be worth a starting spot -- despite only being owned in less than 50% of Fantasy LCS leagues.
- TOP Ray (vs. IMT, P1): Premier point-giving teams line up for the #2 top laner. APX will make sure he gets ahead, or die trying.
- JUN Trashy (vs. UOL, VIT): Always just above the middle of the pack, his consistency might break this week -- with a points boost against two weaker squads.
- MID Keane (vs. IMT, P1): Pobelter is playing for keeps right now, which makes this scary. But Keane will get his against these two teams, especially P1.
- ADC Kobbe (vs. UOL, VIT): The #4 ADC is still only owned in 25% of leagues. What are you waiting for?
- SUP Sprattel (vs. VIT, UOL): #3 support with some wild point fluctuations. He should be able to replicate his top scores (high 30s, low 40s per match) this time.

Week 5 Benchwarmers
Even the best players run into bad matchups that'll spoil their Fantasy scores from time to time. You shouldn't risk starting these high-scoring picks, but you can't afford to drop them either -- stash them safely on your bench for this week.
- TL's Fabbbyyy: Playing great and looks like the permanent starter, but hasn't hit top-tier fantasy numbers yet and faces a tough gauntlet this week. Keep him on your bench one more week and start dreaming of his upcoming soft schedule.
- OG's PowerofEvil: EU is such a mess that OG's makeshift squad has been able to hold its own surprisingly often. But Ryu and Perkz are top-tier talent who should be able to squash POE's potential points quickly.

Week 5 Investment Pickups
If you're looking for long-term gains, think about stashing one of these potential future-studs on your bench. They're owned in less than 25% of leagues right now, but we think they're on their way to fantasy glory.
- S04's Steve: #2 top laner last week, #6 overall. Is picking up steam as the majority of his competition is showing weakness.
- SPY's Sencux: If you're hurting at mid, SPY's sometimes-carry is an interesting long-term gamble. EU is up for grabs as teams struggle with consistency, and I like that Sencux has been steady all Split (50, 71, 78, 61).
Good Luck!
May the odds be in your favor as you try to navigate the wild world of Fantasy LCS this week! As always, you can keep track of all the matches on the NA LCS Schedule and EU LCS Schedule.
