Eh, not so sure about China being "quite a bit better than NA'. In the past couple of tournaments, last MSI, and Worlds 2015, the regions looked about equal.

Over the entire history of Leauge e-sports China has had more success, but currently I don't believe they are that much better.

Also, I think Taiwan is just as good as NA.

Poor immortals. They went 33-3 combined for summer/spring regular seasons but they choke so hard in Best of 5s.

Lost to COUNTER LOGIC GAMING in the spring split. CLG would win Finals and QUALIFY for WORLDS. Lost to TEAM SOLOMID in the summer split. TSM would go on to win Finals and QUALIFY for WORLDS. Lost to CLOUD 9 in the summer and regional playoffs. CLOUD 9 Qualifies for WORLDS.
Well seems like next split whoever beat Immortals will Qualify for WORLDS guys regular season mark it down.

I LOVE NA I love CLG-TSM-C9 any NA team that represents NA I'm PROUD that they represent NA however I don't go into WORLDS thinking EU "you guys suck" or LCK "another easy Championship" I can care less about the outcome I just want to see all the different play-styles from different regions all come together and have a great showing at the BIGGEST EVENT for League of Legends WORLDS! 2016 NA

IMT shows a lot of weaknesses but I'm a bit annoyed to see the same exact 3 teams go to Worlds again when neither could get out of groups.

TSM shows the most promise, but they have been to the most World Championships yet never got past the 1st round, hell their lucky to get out of Worlds.

CLG, still debating whether or not they even belong there, not sure WTH happened to them after MSI.

C9 my favorite team to represent us. They may not win but they at least show up. TSM just gets embarrassed, while Dyrus can't smell a gank to save his life.

Dyrus isn't on the TSM roster currently. He retired last season. It could be very well that this guy didn't watch LCS for a full year outside of the results.

The comment critique aside, both C9, TSM and CLG have shown their strong sides but are they good enough for the Worlds? I am disappointed myself in EU this year as neither OG and FNC managed to qualify and they were our last years strongest teams. But i can't complain if teams that weren't on the map last year managed to put themselves out there this year.

All in all, Koreans are pretty strong when it comes to League and i certainly hope the winner this year won't be SKT. We've gotten 2 skin lines from them and i am not thrilled to see the third one. I honestly don't have any favorites but i certainly hope i'll be surprised by a team i expected the least to win.

Regions often have a slump and a rebuilding phase. This is the first time NA has been "built" in years. But atm EU is rebuilding from the mini-exodus it suffered over the preseason, along with the falling apart of the two major juggernauts. They are rebuilding with new Orgs like Vitality, G2, and Splyce. H2K and UOL are also relatively new orgs. Those teams will

SKT is actually the underdog for this tournament. They are very inconsistent, and could easily falter to a team we wouldn't expect, like they did from MSI

If that's the case, i'd pretty much like to be surprised than just having SKT win another one. Nothing against SKT personally, they are a great team but constantly being winners would mean the rest of the regions can never get on the very top.

There are a lot more possible surprises than SKT winning. I think G2 in particular could surprise.

SKT would be surprising to win imo for anyone who's been keeping up with LCK. It would be like if CLG made it to Semis; they are the team that sometimes looks really good, has looked shaky lately, but we know they can turn up at the last second.

They took a game off of SSW because White literally annihilated them the first two games in embarrassing fashion. High double digit kill scores. They showed them 0 respect in Game 3, and got invaded and lost a terrible level fight. They SSW won all of their games convincingly against them.

C9 on the other hand against SSB also went 3-1, but they gave us a freakin show! Hai's Zed stealth ninja shenengans, and damn near forcing a game 5 in a nail biter. They went down swinging in most of their games. And who can forget "This is For Kabum!" when they were the first NA team in years to beat a Korean team Najin, that game was amazing. Season 3 they went lost 1-2 to FNC Game 3 they lost a level 1 fight and shit snowballed.

My point is I feel C9 is the most respected NA team, they remind me of the old Gambit Gaming/Moscow 5, not the best team but capable of beating the best by pulling out the god damnest rabbit ever.

While CLG was playing MSI there was a huge patch that changed the entire meta. While other teams were playing the new meta CLG was still on an old one. During summer is when they were still figuring it out. That's why the sucked early in the season but got better the more they got to play.

Indeed CLG was too busy winning a TOP SEED FOR NA in stiff Competition at MSI where it was literally 5 other top teams well there was a wildcard team but you know what I mean. They come back to find a whole new patch and had to adept to it as best as they could. They still made it to Playoffs with some thinking they couldn't and they also got passed the First round.
Don't not SLEEP ON CLG this team will make you pay if you do.

Seeding doesn't matter. SKT won it at season 3 as a #3 seed. And SSW won worlds as a #2 seed. Your going to have to face those teams eventually so dodging them just to get eliminated by them later doesn't exactly prove much.

Also if this were still may, and we were still on patch 6.11 I think it was, then I would be worried about CLG. However we have seen the way they play in the current meta, and they aren't even top 3 in their region.

Well objectively speaking Immortals is better than CLG, but I feel like CLG could be better when it comes to the pressures of international play. Immortals seem to only be able to succeed in the relatively pressure- free third place matches and regular season games for some reason.

They fought well and had a great showing. Don't let this stop you from cheering for them in the future.

I know this can't happen because of the amount of foreign players limit on a NA team but if Huni and Reignover can get US Citizenship and replace Wildturtle and Pobelter with Fenix and Piglet. What happened a couple years ago doesn't matter at all. TSM two years ago and TSM today are two very different teams. I actually hate how every season these teams get a complete facelift.

Anyway, C9 is going rep US the best at worlds. They may not be the best team, but they never choke under pressure, and that alone gives them an edge. It's something about C9's management I think, the players never seem to tilt or collapse regardless of the score and stakes (Meteos Zac game against TSM excluded lol).
