CONTEXT

Through an investigation carried out by CS officials, evidence showed that Kaikkonen recently displayed extremely negative behaviour in one of his games. Upon further investigation, officials found that he did not show a continued pattern of negative behaviour, but it was restricted to a few isolated incidences. We can really see the quality of Riot's investigation skills when they can't even spell the name of their victim [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Couldn't Riot give special warnings to pro and semi-pro players where they're told if they keep it up they'll get banned? It'll make them think of their team instead of getting mad at the jungler for that dumb lvl 1 invade.

The rules are publicly posted. This 2 day ban IS a warning. Giving them verbal warning are unnecessary and would contradict their stance on this behavior. No one should flip out on another person even provoked ingame, it happens sure, but if hes already trying to be pro he knows the consequences from other players experience and the pro rules he should have reviewed. These investigations are standard, its on him for behaving in a way that throws red flags.
