How do you become a shout caster for the LCS?

Hi, my name is elfsoamah and I was wondering how to become a shout caster for the LCS.

I should probably start out with some background on myself. I have been playing LoL for acouple years now, I always keep up to date on the LCS and updates for LoL, and I love the competitiveness of LoL.

I'm only a junior in highschool, so I wouldn't be a shout caster for a while, but I wanted to start younger so I can have more time to learn. I was wondering what do you do to become a shout caster, what do you memorize, what do you look for, etc.. And is there any "training" I could get for some LCS shout caster like phreak or Kobe or whoever.

Working for Riot and working as a shout caster has always been a dream of mine, and i wanted to get some insight so I could have a better chance of making it happen!

Best advice I can give is to get started.

Cast tournaments. Host your own or partner up with someone who already does. Stream it. Watch your recordings. Watch current casters and learn from them.

There's not a lot of training out there right now. It's something I'd like to create at some point, but it's mostly self-driven.

I think a good point to make is that you a really good personality for doing it. So you can take critiques and learn from them and not get uptight about it. One of my favorite casters of all time is day9. the guy just bleeds charm and wit out of fucking body on a relgular basis.

If there's anyone to learn from I'd say it would be him. He has his own website that he checks regularly. I'd suggest looking there and making an account and posting
