I'm a p1 player and eight out of every ten games I play are filled with hate speech,discrimination. ppl are toxic in this server. I mean how can we expect our professional players to do well in world series under such environment.
Punishments for flaming are already extremely harsh compared to any other type of misbehaviour. And since a couple months back you can disable chat before you even enter a game. I don't see why punishments for toxicity should get any more harsh tbh.
Riot need to find ways to discourage trolling/soft inting/playing poorly in ranked games. It's unacceptable imo that you can go into the queue that is designed to be for competitive and never carry games and get no punishment for it.

LMFAO, except in EU people talk about hoping another player's family will die and stuff that would be considered mega toxic, and they're an actual top 3 region.
And NA already punishes chat harder than most other regions.
No, this is not even close to the reason NA is bad. The Reason NA soloQ does not help NA pro players improve is b/c NA is a "for fun" region and people are far less competitive and serious than other top regions.
Also another major contributing factor is that the pro scene is based in california (so thats where the pros are playing from) and the NA servers are in chicago so they have to play on higher ping which is not as effective as practice for the 0 ping environment pro games are played on.
