Hi guys ,

Was just wondering .... so the LCS and Worlds are only for people from the regions where the servers are or the continents should i say. Am i correct in saying that? So lets say for instance someone from South Africa got Rank 1 on EUW server and applies for LCS they wouldnt take him and he just gets a jacket and a plaque? I have read the rules and that is what it looks like , just want to make sure. So basically anybody outside of those regions who are really good and have a dream of getting onto a Worlds stage is just forever going to dream? Lastly I expect there are going to be some retards commenting just to have their name shown on a forum but please try and keep it serious . See yall on the Rift <3

LCS is a organization of professional teams. These are groups independent of Riot that make their own decisions, although the league itself is governed by Riot.

The challenger ladder is completely different. Someone from the challenger ladder could be signed by a professional team, but there's no guarantee of that happening.

If someone from South Africa made it to #1 on the EUW ladder, Riot would send them their challenger jacket. That's the extent of Riot's offer. Separately, an organization such as PSG or Fnatic, etc. could look at this player who made it to #1 on the ladder, and choose to sign (or not sign) the player. If the team with the skilled challenger player then makes one of the three Worlds slots, they then would achieve their dream.
