Hello!

I was wondering why there is no a "LoL world cup nations"? and I've never found answers. every country have a lot of very good player (unfortunately not me) Sweden, Usa, South Korea, France, China, Spain... Anyway, after LoL All Star Game and LoL World championship i think you can start a new challenge with a world cup like a FIFA World Cup, for me, it's just a dream to see a French national Team or a Swedish Team against Korean Team! Thank you for reading and please excuse my english :)

Although not a bad idea in theory of course... the quantity of LCS action is so small that, only Korea/USA/China have the player pools available to make this work. In other words: Most countries would put up "second-rate" teams that have no chance in advancing.

IN theory of course... if LoL was a big enough game... but first things first of course....

To correct this there are a lot more then just 3 countries fielding players. The game is constantly expanding and ever growing.

They field the Wild Card slots for worlds.

Taiwan, Japan, Brazil, all of the South East Asia countries, and many more.

Having a team entirely fielded by a country may be a bit to enthusiastic at this stage in LoL Esports field of vision.

With a world-wide organization that Riot is working with other leagues to standardize some things across all regions, the OP's original idea is just something for a later time (at least in my honest opinion)

... I didn't say there are only 3 countries that play LoL. I said there are only 3 countries that can (reliably) field 5-man teams that are even remotely competitive to win tournaments.

This is what you said. Spain (Giants in the EU LCS) has fielded an entire team. I remember Moscow 5's domination which was an entirely Russian team. Also, I never quoted that you said only those 3 countries play LoL. So please do not mis-quote me.

Just because the 3 regions you mentioned field an extensive number of notable players. Does not mean that other regions cannot field competitive teams. (Quas is from LA, Bjergsen is Dutch,

But I do agree that entire teams from specific countries may be a bit to enthusiastic at this time, I do like the idea though.
