A feature i miss in the LCS

Hey Guys,

I don't know where to post this so i put it here :)

I addressed this feature a few times now and didn't get much response but with the launch of this board i try again! Personally I am surprised that this subject doesn't get more attention because it has found a place in all the other big e-sports titles.

The feature i am talking about is a zoom out option in the spectator mode. With the addition of such an option the camera work would have a lot more angles to work with. For example in a spread out team fight the camera doesn't have to choose between the different hot spots. This results in a quick back and forth between the different skirmishes and you miss out on a lot of action.

Additionally this makes analysis and theory crafting a lot easier as well as casting. Just watch out next time you are watching LCS and you will maybe notice that the camera is jumping in team fights changing locations quickly. Over all I think it would make watching matches a lot smoother and improve the coverage of team fight, flanking or ganking maneuvers.

Tanks for the read and excuse my English as well as the long post.

See you on the rift!

i actually agree and disagree with this statement.

it would be useful to have the camera be able to be zoomed out further FOR A SPECTATOR, but you cant add different angles to view the game at.

if you've noticed while playing, at no point do you see the backs of the trees and rocks on the rift. that's because riot doesn't want to add more 3d models to retain there "toaster friendly policy". to add more angles means more models, more rendering, and more importantly more work for the dev crew.
