What's the point of hiding the spoilers if the schedule is gonna tell me who wins anyway? I was really looking forward to watching SKT vs G2 and seeing that in the client made me sad.
ChompyWulf1 votesYou hit the r%%%%% jackpot. If you turned "Hover for Spoilers" OFF....then you will see "spoilers" no matter what. You need to turn that ON and then off you hover mouse over match it shows you.
And seriously, it's been three days. If you can't have watched the semifinals by now nobody cares about you whining now.

But beyond that if you haven't watched something and you know you'll miss it live and want to watch it, then that falls on you to ensure that you're not spoiled by the outcome. That includes avoiding the client or other social media. Hell I used to put my hand over Youtube vods time bar to avoid seeing how long the game was!

Why make it based on time? There's already an option to hide spoilers. If I opt to hide spoilers, then don't show me any spoilers. It's pretty simple. As for avoiding spoilers, I avoided all social media. I thought I was safe enough to buy someone a skin and not get spoiled, except the home page of the client already contains spoilers despite having an option for spoilers turned off. I actually do the same exact thing with putting my hand over the bar lol.
Yeah, it's not fair and that's reality. It's lame that it could be so simple, but it's not. It's even lamer that when I reported this as a bug to Riot, they basically told me "Go post it on the boards and hope it goes viral and then maybe we'll do something about it."

Oh wow their site is pretty nice, thanks! I've only used their subreddit. They have the best spoiler free solution.
Yeah, I wish Riot would follow something like this but it's obviously more worth it for them to advertise to people who otherwise wouldn't watch if they hid the teams. I wish they would show teams by default but have an option to hide them so people who don't care will see which teams move on and pique their interest that way, but then if we do care then we at least have an option to hide it.
