First, how did Monte own the worst NA team? Did they get relegated? No, they didn't which quite clearly makes them not the worst team. How is supporting Korean teams pretending he is Korean? He has the right to support any team he likes, and after living in Korea for so long he probably would and does support their teams, who happen to be the best teams in the world. He refers to western teams as western, because well, they are western teams. Countless people refer to them as western, so because he happens to live and cast Korean LoL, he is pretending to be Korean by referring to teams outside of Korea and specific to the western regions as "western". You also point out Montecristo is so bad, so bad at what exactly? He has had 1 coaching experience in his whole career, which he has admitted he was not prepared for and involves many different aspects he was not experienced in. His coaching wasn't even in house coaching, it was long distance coaching and it is also known there were other issues this brought like players not paying attention during practice and him not having a way to regulate this, etc. (i don't find it necessary to go into them since just this one proves my point). Now take all of this into consideration, and obviously his coaching was not successful, but he is a very capable human and has ridiculous amounts of knowledge about the game, so is it fair to judge his coaching potential because of one complicated part time job? I don't think it is right. Do you know Monte in person? have you spent time with him to know he is a "dick" or a "douchebag", I strongly doubt it. So once again, do you think it is fair to brand someone as one of these adjectives because of the persona they portray while presenting a game openly to many people? I don't think it is right. I have watched OGN, now LCK for many years, and for its longevity him and Doa have built amazing synergy and a great relationship, and I have not seen them argue in cast. There is bound to be playful banter, and there is bound to be disagreements about the nature of the game, that is the reason there is multiple people casting and analyzing each game of League of Legends, to discuss the intricacies of each match, and he has never been hostile or inflammatory during said instances, so could you clarify how he argues with the other casters? His relationships with Papasmithy and Achilios also happen to be quite good and i haven't seen anything unpleasant from them. I think you are just hopping onto the "Montecristo and Thorin are assholes" mentality without even thinking about it, like many people do.
