Stop Giving NA So Many Undeserved Spots in Worlds!

Just from out of the blue based on previous internationally performances:

KR should get 4 spots, LPL should get 4 spots EU should remain at 3 spots NA should deserve 1 spot, and yes, that spot should start in play ins.

I bet there are so many 4th and 5th seed KR and LPL teams that can knock out the NA #1 seed. After this season, regions probably see that getting an NA team in your group is a huge blessing..

And yes, at this rate, eventually worlds will be 6 Korean teams, 1 LPL team, and 1 EU team, and ZERO NA teams competing at worlds..

its a world event. i really think we send teams with just the drive to get to worlds and not win it.

Yeah... this isn’t a good idea. NA is arguably the 2nd best region and at a minimum 4th best region. Sure, the Korean teams will dominate with however many teams they bring, but that shouldn’t strip the other regions down.

Winning region already gets a bye from play-in

Reaching Semis, regions get 2 teams each to groups directly

Reaching Quarters, regions get 1 to groups directly

Rest of them all come from play-in

Something like that would not reduce the amount of teams per region but eliminate them right away if the are pretty bad

If only 1 team wins it all, then it doesn't really matter how many spots diff regions get. NA gets 3 because it is one of the more popular ragions along with Korea and China.

If you're talking about previous tournaments, shouldn't EU have less spots, since y know... They got 0 out of groups last year, and they lost Rift Rivals..?

Please no on LPL and KR, give other regionas a chance. For real, I DID ask for Korea to get a 4th spot (if they win worlds, world's winner should autoqualify for playins without taking a spot). But that just makes it that much harder for nay other country to win.

Let regions like Lyon throw their name in, GAM, etc. Sure they may lose, but they can provide good games and try to improve. TSM will just be scared of ruining their good name.

Why even give NA a spot to begin with ? We already know they/we are garbage and always lose, other than C9 but even so, NA as a region suck.

S1 - Had a year to understand the game before the Koreans/Asian teams(EU won Worlds), it was an EU vs NA Worlds and yet, NA gets pounded, wasn't even a NA team in the finals.

S2 - An Azubu Frost player looked at the map for 3 secs.(LMS Won Worlds), at the time and possibly still is the greatest upset in League history.

S3 Was this the year that Dyrus s$it talked potential Samsung White with " Group A is easier than Group B" or something with Sjokz saying " You just hit on Ozone/SSW" Dyrus - "Everybody" Oh, who that backfired in the future for TSM( Twice 2014/2016)

S4 NA actually did something GJ

S5 Fnatic and OG made EU proud with actually winning their group. #represent when the tournament is in your region(maybe next year NA can do the same)

S6 NOPE, the Koreans, the Asians, Eu and even IWC teams came into NA and pillaged the lands, took our group, our women, our elo etc.

lol Worlds = All LCK n LPL teams logic. It couldn't be called worlds then just the Western Pacific Championship.
