Will Ryze get pulled out again in Worlds?

With the TP Nerfs, and buffs to Ryze's ultimate, is it possible that he will become a highly contested pick in worlds again after having seemingly fallen out of the LCS high picks/bans? Thoughts anyone?

I've thought this for a bit now, but the buffs to his ult are a pretty sure sign that someone will play him now. I'm honestly surprised we didn't see him in the NA Semi-finals.

Correct me if I am wrong, I but I believe that Semi's were played on 6.16 which is before they buff Ryze's TP Distance which is what I believe will make him amazing in competitive, as his ult is amazing with high level coordination.

No, you are correct. My meaning is that I expected him played regardless, because the ult was still pretty strong before. His power is mostly in his ability to AOE nuke everybody, though, if combo'd correctly.

I just think that now it's further, Flanking in from behind is a viable strat with more than 1 person and it's a lower cast than TP.
