SKT T1 Renew Contracts

SKT T1: Faker, Bang, Wolf, Untara have renewed their contracts, as well as Effort from their "practice team". Huni is talking to another team about a transfer. Also Peanut has not renewed his contract, therefore leaving SKT. There was a rumor in Korea that Faker was going to the military (Mandatory in South Korea) but he decided not to, and Huni and Peanut will leave SKT T1. Effort is a support player that has been in the practice team for 2017 and will join the main roster next year. Edit: Other top teams from lck, which are Longzhu, Samsung, KT Rolster are keeping their same main members but ended contract with some of their sub players. Uhhh, how can something be "mandatory" and allow someone a choice at the same time?

His participation in the military is mandatory. However in South Korea he is an athlete & can get 1 delay of his service. Not sure if you know but the same thing happened to Forg1ven last year (mid-season even).

Good to know.

Potentially bad news for SKT fans, with their bot duo having looked shaky for a split, and Bang having some epic mistakes cost them the World's finals.

If Faker does go to the military and gets killed that would be such a waste of talent.
