Phoenix League Season One signups!

Welcome to our first season of Phoenix League

Entry:

Qualifications with consist of a Swiss-Gauntlet tournement that will have 6 rounds spanning over 2 days. Games will be at 3/4/5pm CST on both March 11th and 12th. After 6 rounds we will gather the top 10 teams(using the Buchholz Method and the tiebreakers in section 5.3.2 of the Phoenix League Rulebook (if needed). Signups for the Swiss-Gauntlet will close March 5th at midnight. The first pairings for the Swiss-Gauntlet will be released March 10th. Signup Page: Click Here!

Format(Regular Season):

Once the 10 teams are decided, they will compete in 2 Best of 1s each Saturday for 5 weeks starting March 18th. Teams will have 1 game per week streamed so that all 10 teams get streamed. Games will be scheduled from 3pm to 7pm CST.

Format(Playoffs):

After 5 weeks of play have finished, the top 8 teams will be seeding in a bracket to decide the champion. Each series in playoffs will be Best of 5. The Prize Pool will be $250, with $150 going to 1st place, $75 to 2nd, and $25 to 3rd. Requirements to join:

Teams must be located on the North American server. Teams must consist of a minimum of 5 players.
