Hello, this year will be my first time to attend the world's championship, and it is split between 3 different countries. If any of you has an experience what do you think is best stage to attend? The finals is thee most hyped of course but the group or playoff stage lets say have more games with a better opportunity to see a lot of players from different teams.
Honestly, I would travel/stay - in Europe and Berlin for the Play-In stage and Group stage.
Personally, if the Group Stage doesn't hold my attention(2018) I tend to not care about the rest of the tournament. So it's a make-or-break situation.
The later stages, games tend to just be a who can sniff the meta's anus better as the determining factor, while the earlier games tend to so much more depth to them.
Also lets be honest, the World Championship Finals tend to suck for the most part in which the 2016 Finals was the only good Finals. So don't go the Finals for a 3-5 games total when in reality the true finals tend to always be in the Quarter/Semi Finals instead.
